Hi i'm a bit of a lurker on this thread but i love bootsing. I bought all my christmas presents for next year with my points. They were only 50% off but i just wanted to get them as the shops i'd been to were nearly empty. Now all the shops have loads of stuff. Can i take my presents back and get my points back do you reckon or will they just laugh at me? sorry if it's a stupid question i just feel annoyed i was duped into buying as the few shops i went into had nothing! i want more for my money/points.

Evening all

Just got back from a visit to my parents...got my hair cut too while I was there...bit shorter than usual, feels a bit weird but I'll get used to it

Popped into their local Boots (Oakham in Rutland) A handful of gift sets left - mostly St Tropez and the big R&M one, plus several foodie type ones...Also had the new No7 mineral stuff - foundations all too dark for me, but quite like the damson (?) blusher (have only just bought another of my favourite Bourjois one though so didn't buy) Had forgotten how small this store is - the delights of rural living

Im sure that last year the sale started on a wednesday as i can remember i had the day off college, as my days off were wednesdays and thursdays then and i used to be at college on a tuesday.

Popped to a not so local today while out shopping and got some Radox Anti Perspirant Roll on and also spray. These were half price so worth checking the labels. I'm going into town tomorrow so will go and have a look in my local

Popped into Boots this afternoon, and the No7 points vouchers weren't scanning.

I offered two different barcoded vouchers and the SA said I could only use one (fair enough). The SA tried both scanning and manually entering both of the vouchers to no avail, so she voided the sale and asked the young SA next to her to try, the same thing happened. So they decided to get the No7 consultant who manually added both coupons by way of an apology for holding me up, the original SA then called me back and gave me 3 blinkies:T

I bought:

No7 Eyelash Curler £1.72
No7 Moisture Glove £1.47 x 2 (got one free)
No7 Facial Sponge £0.98 x 3 (got one free)
Nailene Toes Kit £1.71 x 2
Broadway Fast French Nail Kit £1.47

Total to pay £10.04
Less blinkie, so total paid £5.04,
Used 2 x 250 points,
Earnt a blinkie (but received an additional 3)

I would have gone and spent the rest of my blinkies, but hubby was with me and was huffing and puffing, so will try to pop in again tomorrow.

went into cambridge retail park boots and the sale shelves have almost dissapeared apart from wrapping paper and perfume sets. really dissapointed l hope they get more stock in cuz l havent seen any stock being put out since the sale started.

l dont think anyone can bear another night of staying up till 5!!!
