loads and loads of gift sets remaining in every single store i go into and i doubt they r going to be able to sell all that in the next week. so it will be interesting to see whether there is a 75% of sale or whether boots will hold out till they av sold some more stock before they reduce the prices.0

Hi was in solihull to pick up an item from John Lewis and couldnt help poping into the Boots there:o. So glad I did though.
Loads of stuff on No7 clearance, make up inc :
Eye shadow compact £5.88
Toning sun protection £5.xx
After sun care £3.xx
Lip & cheek tint £4.50
After sun body care £4.xx
Pre sun tan preparing stuff £4.xx
Glossy lock stuff £2.88
Plus loads more skin care and sun protection, blusher etc
Also some accessories:
Nail file & buffer & case £4.xx
Gloves £3.xx
Plus others
All the above went through on 342 & used blinkies and points etc
By the way think magic points has been busted as used my last one on a full price item today and it only came up as 250:(. But i did get some pantene sachets at last:D, loads left !
No Gwp of any sort anywhere, would really have liked the Maxfactor and Loreal one, never mind hey. If anyone wants to swap for the boujoirs pendent thing or no7 eyeshadow pallete or if you have another request for a swap pls pm me.
I was so pleased as my two youngest in the double buggy were with me and they were golden as i did my seperate shops. I was helped by a lovely young chap up stairs and while i was doing this another sa entertained my children etc, they were fab!:A Rewarded the toddler with an iggle water bottle cover that he pulled of the shelf, paid with points and my baby girl just gurggled through it all, bless. We then went to john lewis Baby and parent room for various feeds and nappy changes and I had never been before, it is really goooood, so well thought out and convenient, I actually didnt mind feeding in there!:D. To top of a lovely day i went into a game shop to do some exchanges for my dh and a very fit looking young assistant at least 10 yrs younger than me , flirted with me:eek: :rotfl:i was made up but trying not to laugh, cause it was really sweet, must be all this wonderful makeup, skincare etc freebies i am getting from mr b. Now do excuse me while i try and take this silly grin of my face:DYou laugh because I'm different......I laugh cause I just farted!

I don't think Boots will suddenly decide to scrap the sale. I have been told by numerous people that work there that it starts on the 14th, and know most stores are keen to get rid of this stock to make way for the next promotion (e.g all the summer stuff etc). Think that is why they do the 75% sale instead of holding on or reducing by fiddly amounts. They know the stock will fly out of the door and they are grateful to be shot of the stock.I may have lupus but it doesnt make me useless! I am a true believer in Karma, and am a typical cancerian. I have a hard outside, but am mushy on the inside.:o0

Im following sndra-scarletts adventures and making a day out of my trip to boots, greatfully helped by the 50% of pizzahut voucher and a few others i have that are local to me.
It seems i have an addictive personality, i have quit the addiction to ciggies and replaced it with an addiction to bootsing.
I have given up on the 75% off sale, i have more than enough blinkies to buy me more than enough goodies to last me a fair while.:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T
:T fortune with those less fortunate :T
:T than themselves - you know who you are!:T0 -
does anyone know if you can use your points to buy galsses from boots opticians?!?!0

Hi everyone,
Busy day bootsing today. Got lots but wonder if buying the items i did on the 3 4 2 was such a clever idea. Think it actually would work out way better just doing one transaction at a time with a blinkie.
None of the 'magic' 250 points vouchers scanned at 500, wonder if they have sorted that? Also one shop visit didn't put through 750 points they should have and i didn't notice till i got home! I get so flustered I never remember to check my receipts in store. Called up the branch and they say I can come in next week and they will see about them putting the points on my card, not convinced but fingers crossed!
Update on the stores I visited.
Glasgow Fort: No Pantene sachets, asked as box was empty and they did stock check, was told no more would come in till mid next week. No clearance Herbal Essences left. Lots of clearance No 7 but it is going fast. Some at till, some next to Loreal moisturisers and a little on the No 7 stand too.
Hamilton Regent Centre. Don't stock Pantene sachets but some decent No 7 clearance items. Didn't have any clearance shampoos with points i could find.
Hamilton Palace Grounds. Don't stock Pantene sachets, I asked. Also couldn't see any clearance offer shampoos. Very little clearance No 7, only sun creams etc. Staff always extra helpful in this store though, shame not that many bargains!
Motherwell. Don't stock Pantene sachets or at least so I was told. I half thought I heard them talking in hushed tones after I asked saying they had been 'put away' but I am so not sure if I imagined that! Some No7 clearance though. Although first time in a long time i have been in this store and not an experience I will be hurrying to repeat! (One drunk man, very aggresive security guard and a minor in store altercation. Also staff got rather huffy when I was trying to use my vouchers.)0 -
I know what you mean!
There is no chance of me dieting once christmas is over as I then straightaway have the lure of the easter eggs. You think they could delay it a bit so I can look like I am being good!MYLITTLESISTERLOLA wrote: »THERE IS GOING TO BE A 75% SALE FOR 2 REASONS I CAN THINK OF
