It came on briefly for a couple of mins just now as I was trying to log on, but when I went to my basket- instead of being 75% off..... they were trying to charge me 4 times more!!!

Now I keep getting generic error......

If I hadn't been hoarding points to help with my daughter's expected twins, I'd cheerfully avoid shopping at Boots until they get their act together. Of course any halfway decent computer system could adjust the orders currently showing at full price. It's not the best time to alienate loyal customers, is it?
This (or something like it) happens every time they have a sale. It's feeble beyond words. As I said when the system woudln't let us pay in the 50% sale 'why, when I said Never Again last year, did I not listen?'

Well I went to Watford today (was there at 9am) filled my bags and met another Bootser from here!
Anyway went to the til and told the SA that I wanted to put it through in a couple of smaller amounts to get the bilinkies. Anyway the SA told me I needed to keep them to just over £5 to get the best out of it (as if I didn't know that ). Then he decided to speak to his superviser and cleared it with her that I could pay in one go and they would just give me a voucher for each £5 I spent :T. So I came away with 22!:eek:. I then tried to buy 3 no7 gift sets in the sale hoping they would go through as 342 but they didn't so I said I would just buy them separately and use my vouchers but I couldn't use them on gift sets :mad:. Oh well I'll just have to traipse around all the stores looking for reduced no7 stuff that isn't a gift set.

Yes theres a voucher for points when you buy L'Oreal excel hair colour, and one for points when you buy a mascara, but cant remember which one sorry.

my little store on my door step still has stock upstairs and they are replensishing many times a day, i got some nice bits in bromley but will keep an eye on the local one

didnt do much of the bigger stuff but today they had scantury bags, lots of the john freda stuff, mark hill and the med lines

Got quite a good haul in Watford (Harlequin) at about 9:30 this morning. Lots of pressies for my teen DD's friends, should last for most of the year, plus a few treats for myself. Disappointed that there wasn't any sanctuary or naked stuff though, or much for blokes.

DH came with me and helped carry my bags, bless him! After we had left the store, he said he'd overheard a few women introducing themselves to each other with "funny names" and it had just dawned on him that they were probably user names from MSE...I wish he'd said so in the store, I'd have said Hi to whoever it was!

I was worried he would curb my spending, but he got quite into it and even visited another boots in his lunch hour - came out with a choccie fondue set!

I hope you all got some nice stuff anyway! :hello: (belated Hi!)

am still bleary eyed from my 3am battle to place my order... states its being processed so fingers crossed it will arrive!

Only managed 1 small store today but i had a good root around & found Green stickered items hiding amongst the normal stuff:j . When i got them price checked they were coming up at full price:eek: although i know they were previously Xmas gifts coz i'd bought them on 342 before Xmas.
It was the In the Night Garden wash mitt/soap & Iggle Piggle in his boat. Did anyone manage to get these at 75% today?
Also noticed some Ted Baker sets (minus the stickers) back in with the normal stock:cool:
On the plus side..i was happy to get the 4 Simple skincare sets i'd spotted on Sunday..but only coz they were also in with the normal stock & nobody had thought to look there:j .

Reading backwards so not sure what's happened with .com yet but sympathies to those of you that the c**k-up's affected.
