Hmmm... well done you have persuaded me to risk it and go and have a look! Hopefully they may have had the chance to re-stock the shelves. FINGERS CROSSED!

you may be lucky, but if you dont go you'll only be what if, or maybe at least if you go check it out, you will know, i think temptation would get the better of me:rotfl:

The site crashed for me just as the sale started, now I have officially given up!

i do hope you get what you want but when you can call cs again. they told me this morning (i had been trying since pre birdsong) and crashing at last minutes when placing order. i called cs to see when would be running again and told an order had gone through to be with me monday. something wasnt right and i called again only to be told very nicely that the transaction wasnt completed hence no confirmation email but did get a ref number and date etc. i called just after 12 this afternoon and the woman put through my small order for me (i love that woman!) and i now have the confirmation email. if in doubt call them and ask them to check as even when i called the 2nd time she said it was fine then said to hold on, then spotted the error. im just keeping my fingers crossed that my stuff for the little 'un does come through !

After reading your post I phoned CS again (I'd spoken to them earlier & been told my order had gone through). She's just checked and it hasn't, it's still 'pending' I can't say what I think about that 'nice young man' I spoke to earlier!

She said she can't process the order because the system is down and I'll have to log back in when the site is up and running again and go through checkout again.

Will there be anything left to checkout :(

Hope this hasn't happened to anyone else

Was there this morning, it usually opens at 10am so must've opened at 9am, it was heaving, along with prams!! People had trollies loaded so high. Think most of the stuff went early (toys certainly did - missed out there!) THe staff were restocking the shelves as far as they were emptied. Pleased I got a few christmas pressies (have wrapped them already) and bday pressies and some bits and bobs for me! Hope you find something decent x

hi, good luck to all of you and go get those bargains!!! dont think i'll be going as have exams to revise for :( ....anyone been to eastham, forest gate, ilford or stratford or beckton boots???
also can you use the blinkie on no7 sale items??

I went to Beckton (outlet one in the Triangle retail park) on Saturday and there wasn't a lot of good deals there. Might have changed now, though!;) Did buy some fab cocktail glasses with handbags on for £3 each, instead of £12. They had heart ones too, so would be great for Valentines or wedding/anniversary present.

Went to Ilford Boots late morning today and it wasn't too busy, but people were buying a lot. Still plenty left when I went though. Couldn't carry any more but got most of what I wanted. Couldn't find the football hand warmers with a thermos though. Already sold out online.

Also did an online order this morning about 9:30am. Was very slow, but went through payment ok first time. Well done to those of you who stayed up or got up early especially. It's a close call, but I prefer my sleep to shopping.;)

First of all, thanks to everyone for all the updates on the sale. I got up at 3 this morning and finally got my order through at 2.30 this afternoon!

Secondly, if I have an email confirmation does that mean I will get everything that is on that confirmation even things that are now out of stock?

I ventured over to the Fort at Birmingham and it was nearly wiped clear. I did manage to get the mulled wine set, gingerbread house and 4 x 4 car type thing for DS, so not a wasted journey.

Good luck all still trying to get through. x
