Hi
A big 'Thank You!' to everyone who posted info on the sale.
I got up early to get to the store when it opened at 8:30 this morning, got to my car and found the door had frozen shut! It took me 15 mins to actually get into my car and then another 10 to get it defrosted enough to be able to drive it! (Although to be honest it probably wasn't safe to drive with a small head sized hole cleared! lol )
Got to town at 8:45 as my mum text to say the store hadn't even opened yet and still had 50% off signs still up! Was about to cry!
Loitered outside like a waster for 15 mins getting wierd looks from people until they opened.
Could have cried from excitement when I finally got in and an off duty SA confirmed the 75% sale! :j
Shouted at my mum to get baskets whilst I started looting the shelves, and she did a comic sketch dance in all directions not knowing where to go! Maybe I will take someone else next year!
Anyway, the important bits!Kettering did not have any Sanctuary or S&G sets left. They did have quite a lot of Ruby and Millie and No7 - the SAs were still putting out the weekend bag thing when we left. There were loads of mens sets - TB, FCUK, Hackett, etc. Also lots of kids/teen beauty/cosmetic sets.
I didn't get as much as I intended because I specifically wanted some Sanctuary stuff. But I still managed to spend just over £30 and saved over £90. Then spent my blinkie on a 'free' Hydro Quench Sauna Mask.
Don't know if it helps anyone but all the reduced No7 stuff has been moved to the middle of the shop in the large aisle with all the womens deodorants (sp?).
Thanks again to all the posters x
ohh youre not too far from me (thrapston) i decided on wellingborough, although smaller than kettering i found a few bits, i got 2 x ice cream sundae sets for the kids, a big weekender bag filled with goodies reduced from £30.00 to £7.50 last one left, plus a few other bits and pieces.

The number is on the front page of the thread
I rang them about fifteen minutes ago and they weren't sure when the system would be back up, no-one should be able to place orders online at the moment and they can't take orders over the phone.0 -

I placed a 2nd order again it crashed at payment.. I managed to get back on the site checked my orders and that had gone through and was showing as being processed.
Not received any confirmation email though but the website is showing just 2 orders... I know I will prob end up with my 1st order being done 5 time though. just my luck!
Well done on getting at least 2 orders through!
Nothing is showing in my orders but I'm staying calm and trusting CS when they say it is there :eek:0 -

I would say go for it if it's not too out of your way, they'll probably be restocking the shelves at this time if it's a large store.
I just rang a small store that I've never been to before (but is actually quite close to here - I'm in uni, believe me in my hometown I know where all the Boots stores are) and they said they have very few sale items left. Yet I'm still tempted to go tomorrow just to have a look

i do hope you get what you want but when you can call cs again. they told me this morning (i had been trying since pre birdsong) and crashing at last minutes when placing order. i called cs to see when would be running again and told an order had gone through to be with me monday. something wasnt right and i called again only to be told very nicely that the transaction wasnt completed hence no confirmation email but did get a ref number and date etc. i called just after 12 this afternoon and the woman put through my small order for me (i love that woman!) and i now have the confirmation email. if in doubt call them and ask them to check as even when i called the 2nd time she said it was fine then said to hold on, then spotted the error. im just keeping my fingers crossed that my stuff for the little 'un does come through !A happy wife, and mum to 2 lovely little boys :j0
