Lets be fair here....the tech team at Boots HQ must be sweating blood trying to get .com up and running again. Just think how much money they're losing over missed orders and frustrated customers vowing never to return.

And I bet someone on the .com website team is getting told to tidy his/her desk over this fiasco...

    Hi

A big 'Thank You!' to everyone who posted info on the sale.

I got up early to get to the store when it opened at 8:30 this morning, got to my car and found the door had frozen shut! It took me 15 mins to actually get into my car and then another 10 to get it defrosted enough to be able to drive it! (Although to be honest it probably wasn't safe to drive with a small head sized hole cleared! lol )

Got to town at 8:45 as my mum text to say the store hadn't even opened yet and still had 50% off signs still up! Was about to cry!

Loitered outside like a waster for 15 mins getting wierd looks from people until they opened.

Could have cried from excitement when I finally got in and an off duty SA confirmed the 75% sale! :j

Shouted at my mum to get baskets whilst I started looting the shelves, and she did a comic sketch dance in all directions not knowing where to go! Maybe I will take someone else next year!

Anyway, the important bits! Kettering did not have any Sanctuary or S&G sets left. They did have quite a lot of Ruby and Millie and No7 - the SAs were still putting out the weekend bag thing when we left. There were loads of mens sets - TB, FCUK, Hackett, etc. Also lots of kids/teen beauty/cosmetic sets.

I didn't get as much as I intended because I specifically wanted some Sanctuary stuff. But I still managed to spend just over £30 and saved over £90. Then spent my blinkie on a 'free' Hydro Quench Sauna Mask.

Don't know if it helps anyone but all the reduced No7 stuff has been moved to the middle of the shop in the large aisle with all the womens deodorants (sp?).

Thanks again to all the posters x

Is it wrong that you've now cheered me up? You've had it much worse than me! Poor dab. I kept getting to the bank password bit too :(

I Boots'ed all morning today, 5 different stores.

Got loads of my wish list, treated myself extensively, bagged another 4 free GWP's (found the L'Oreal black box, and the Rimmel palette, still a shedload of MF black bag, but still not seen hide nor hair of an Olay GWP on my travels), bought the last 3 No7 Illuminating Lotions for another Bootser here, got another couple of blinkies, and I'm now all but AC point-less.

It was great though - bags and bags of stuff, for nothing :T :T !

Had a fabulous SA first thing this morning - she was quite happy to do the No7 in 3 separate transactions for me to pay with 3 blinkies, then the Bratz shower bag and a girls travelbook kit I bought at 75% off wouldn't go through properly as the barcode tag wasn't on them, so she scanned the cheapest other item I bought (all of 63p) and I got both of them for that too (should have been £2.50 for the Bratz bag, and no idea how much for the travelbook).

And the SS tills were unmanned, so my "free gift" GWP's could shout all they liked, no-one was listening :rotfl: !
