Looking for the £50 P&P sets, the big shop on Princes St had loads yesterday so hit that at 9am after dropping DS off. Quite a lot of No 7 stuff but not the P&P. Loads of folk there, so left with nothing. Got the bus up to Lothian Rd as they had 3 sets yesterday - joy oh joy there were 2 on the shelf so grabbed them both and some Sanctury bits and bobs, as well as some No 7 and 17 gift sets.

Had to go to work (boo).

Hit Shandwick Place at 12pm, packed with people but no P&P. Left without buying and went to the small one on Princes St - no P&P but some nice Sanctury and other gift packs.

Total spend (with some other bits & bobs to use mailing coupons) - £74.75, 1918 points, total saving (from receipt) £217.13!!

V pleased, should have ignored the big Princes St and done Shandwick Place at 9am before the crowds but I am very happy to get 2 P&P sets.

    Thanks all :T :T

Went to Luton this morning. Hardly any toys but loads of gift sets (R&M, botanics, Elle, FCUK, trevor sorbie, john frieda, accessorize, fresh etc). No S&G or sanctuary or No7 (apart from night pallette). Loads for men as well. SA said not many toys going into this years sale so compared to last year it was a bit of a damp squid.
No one was buying the alcohol sets and there was a bit of National Trust stuff. This was at 10:30 when I finally convinced myself there was nothing else to buy.

    Hi

I was also in Luton this morning - I got there about 9.30am, lots of people were there already.
Spent 7508 in points and saved 20745 points :T Bought 17 items
Managed to get R&M , Elle , NO7 Travel Collection, Accessorise, Hair care sets,
Childrens teddy & Fairy book, Luki Panda , Fresh, Cat Mug.

Very pleased with my shopping as I had a guilt free shopping day as no real cash was spent
and I still have £45.00 worth of points on my card.

Thanks to everyone who posted when the 75% sale was so I could get some real bargains

I've sharpened my elbows ready for the scrum!!!!!! Only joking. I must remember to try and grab some GWP while I'm there and surrupticiously try to get them to go through with everything else! Also intend to try and get it put through in a couple of transactions to get a few blinkies!

So apologies dollywops if you get stuck in the queue behind me :D

How funny that I should have overheard you discussing a blinkie with your friend and mentioned mse.

Anyway, I did not get stuck behind you, but plenty of people got stuck behind me. I wanted to do separate transactions to get as many blinkies as possible. Unfortunately, there was a problem with my cc with my first R&M purchase. Boots had to ring Tesco Personal Finance to get authorisation. I also decided to ring them, as I was fairly sure I knew what the problem was - I used the card 4 times this morning on Amazon. Anyway, whilst both the manager and I were on separate phones, I could hear mutterings in the queue, but it was not my fault. Anyway, when the card problem was sorted out, the young boy asked me how many vouchers I would be getting. I told him he would need to put through separate transactions for me to qualify for the vouchers. He said he would just give them to me anyway. I did 2 lots of £8.75 and then £32.73 and got 9 blinkies.

I can't say there was anything special in Watford and I was there before 9am. Mind you, there wasn't anything special on Monday.

    Hey all,

just nipped out to my local tiny boots - didn't really expect to find much as its small but only ten mins away so thought I would go look :) And can I just say a MASSIVE thank you to CPG :D She told me I should go, I was ummm-ing and arrr-ing over it, so I went, and it looked like there weren't any xmas shelves!!! Just as I was about to curse CPG and stomp home, I found the tiniest xmas gift set shelf in the world......and lo and behold..what was on it?

RM OOTW, unrifled, AND Mens FCUK Set (one with scarf and wallet) sooo grabbed them quick, along with a moo cow milkshake glass, headed to the til paid £26 in points :D:eek: saved nearly £80 :D:D

Honestly, my heart nearly stopped when I saw those two, total bargains, and thats OH sorted for Valentines Day :)

Thanks to CPG ordering me to go out :p

Only question is, now where do I put it all before OH gets home and has a heart attack?!?!!?

Mrs Buffy reporting in on behalf of Mr Buffy...

"Got to Cambridge city centre in time for opening...grabbed the two Natural Collection sets that Mrs Buffy wanted, plus another No7 Twinkle lip gloss from the Last Chance stand...used blinkie but forgot to get something else to take transaction up to £5, got lecture from Mrs Buffy for that one...So went back at lunchtime, grabbed some toothpaste (241), fluttered eyelashes at nice SA, and "returned" the NC sets and did that part of the original transaction again, along with the toothpaste. Then went and got a Ruby+Millie eyeshadow quartet (the one in the purple leather case) - used blinkie + 500pts on R&M from mailing, so £9 to pay instead of £14. Madame Buffy is now pleased :D Sale section looked like a plague of locusts had been through it, stuff flying off the shelves, no No7 sets left at all now, no National Trust, no 17, still quite a few St Tropez sets left."

Glad to see many of you getting at least some of what you want. I was keeping one eye on the No7 P&P sets at 50%, but I only wanted it for the facial serum and two little pots, so not prepared to pay £25. Couldn't be bothered with .com, so will just buy a serum on eBay and be done with it :D

    So ladies and gentlemen...
