Just bought about 20 items, I'm well pleased. For those who are looking for the No 7 vouchers in the sets, I just got the No 7 liplicious colour collection (marked £16, through at £3.67) & it has the 250 point voucher which expires 31/3/09 - so take it out & use it if you are keeping it as a present until after then! No vouchers in the £20 eye & brow kit or ultimate nails though - actually, I'm wrong, I searched carefully & they were hidden inside.0

Im so glad i didnt stay up and frustrate myself with .com.
I arrived at my store at 9.45 and saw loads of people walking out with bag and bags full of stuff.
I managed to fill 6 baskets and 5 giant carrier bags when they packed it all for me.
SO glad i took my mum and her car as i would have never managed it on my own on the bus.
I went to carlisle and there is not much of anything left now.
Didnt get anything to shout about really, as i suspected there was NO S&G and the 1 and only item i did want was a No7 travel essentials bag but they had none and had never had any. I managed to get quite a few No7 sets (the ones with 250pts coupons inside) therefore making them only £1.20 each.
Managed to get a really good haul of stuff, plenty of pressies for throughout the year.
I spent 8249 pts and saved 25339pts WOO HOO
It felt really good buying it all but now i have taken it all out of the bag and laid it all out on my bed there doesnt look that much, i too want more, but there was nothing else worth having.
So i am still on the hunt for No7 travel essential bag and a meccano car thing for DF that was £25 but now £6.25.
So if anyone in GLASGOW can find me these on your travels i will gladly collect them from you on monday before i go to the airport.:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T
:T fortune with those less fortunate :T
:T than themselves - you know who you are!:T0 -
Tried everything thats rumoured to help - think this Baby is going to have to be evicted :rotfl:I see the consultant tomorrow for a c section date - DD1 was emergency c section so they won't induce me  Should have 1 week left at most.
I went to chineese herbalist the day before i was due to be induced with dd no. 3. he gave me some joss stick type thingies to be burnt near my feet. Within hours I was in labor!!!!
We called her Poppy because she 'popped out' lolnow has her .com delivery but doesnt know where to put it0 -
I went to my local one in North London, it's a fairly big store (with two floors) I was in town yesterday as well so I checked that there was plenty in stick.
Got there daed on 9am, not really anyone around, tonnes stil in stock. Gradually more and more people arrived and really popular stuff started selling out, though there was plenty of certain items when I left- the st tropez sets, ted baker gift set, lots of hair stuff, men's £50 fc large tins.
Most people were really polite- no pushing or shoving, there were just two men who were a bit shovey and the buggy brigade ladies (in fact there seemed to be an army of those!) who were deliberately blocking shelves with their buggies so that people couldn't get to them, oh and one particular lady who emptied each shelf of all the most popular things (literally 10 or more of the same items) I'm guessing she's an ebayer, which I suppose is fair enough really but I think boots should do some sort of limit- even just being allowed no more than 5 of the same item would make things so so much better for everyone.
I spent £40 ish (but saved £130!) just gutted they didn't stock my lovely Homer toasted sandwich maker
fave buy was my Elle Macpherson stuff- a vanity bag and a box of travel size bits as it worked out cheaper to buy them oin the gift sets than buying them from the bath section like I usually do.
hope everyone got at least some of what they wanted!0 -
The toys I had in my cart were 75% off before the system went out but I didnt manage to check out. In store, full price.0

:eek:Wowser - can't believe that.com is still down. I have been to5 boots stores this morning.
Here's the lowdown, in order of my trek:
Holborn, Chancery lane absolute tosh. two tiny displays with some totes socks and christmas cards. Bought Zilch.
Holborn, Hatton Gardens, no sale only fragrance sets. Bought Zilch.
Ludgate Circus, a few St Tropez sets and men's FCUK. Bought 2 of the large sets with scarves in.
Farringdon Road, Nr Blackfriars. Not much a few household bits and some of the No7 smaller sets. Bought 1 of the electric manicure sets, one of the minis with headband.
Islington. Had a fair few bits left, but loked like there had been much more for the early birds. Bought Elle Macpherson over night bag, TS Brunette set, and 4 other of the haircare mini sets. (all for me:T)
I'm actually glad that .com went down as it made me go out, and I got all of my goodies with points. There are now only a couple of things I want and I'm fairly confident that they wont go OOS.:A
OOOOH! I forgot to mention, I went to Liverpool St yesterday and they were guarding the olay and l'oreal GWP. It was very funny to watch them 'pounce' on poor unsuspecting victims, who clearly had no idea about the glitch.:rotfl::rotfl:Save me from spending...

My liplicious colour collection set had a 350 points when you buy a product from the no7 range, any other sets with vouchers?0

I went to my local store and there was loads got Ruby and Millie sets, no 7 sets, ted baker and Soap and Glory spent £83. I ended up struggling and this pensioner felt sorry for me and got me a basket and I realised my trousers had fallen down and I was giving everyone a view of my bottom lol. The sa went to the pinking machine and got me the points for spending over £35.
I nipped in to the Alliance chemist and got loads of gift packs and kiddies stuff and only spend £26 (4 massive bag fulls of stuff).0 -
Quick question folks got stuff in shop and fogot to use my double points token can I go back with receipt and get them added in will they do this? If I get bonus points with Pantene can I also use the double points token? Many thanks for any help much appreciated.
the problem with vouchers is that they cant be scanned through when adding points manually so you would be able to use the voucher again (i.e u could use it 3 times as it is a double points voucher). the easiest way round this is to use ur voucher once and then bring it back to the store with the reciept and ask for points to be added manually but say u will give them the voucher.0
