To get to Ballynakelly, coming from Portadown is easy, take the M1 to Coalisland, Junction 14 you will Saltmarine on your left.
At the roundabout take the 3rd exit for Coalisland and follow that road for about 2 miles, Ballynakelly is signposted and a left turn, Once you turn left follow this road all the way up the hill about 1/2 a mile and the Working Mens Club will be situated on the right hand side.

    The address for it is

    Ballynakelly Working Mens Club
    Coash Road
    Dungannon
    County Tyrone
    BT71 6JE

You can google for a map if that helps better than my directions:rotfl:

I can set you up at a table inside the Club and open the back door near to where the bouncy castle will be? Otherwise you will have to bring your own shelter for outside.

    Hope this helps.

Inside near the door would be great!! Thanks for all your help! See you there!:T
  • Hi fellow crafty folk - havent been here in a while, but see you've all been busy!!
Re the home knits, they are best sold at church fairs or local fairs, as Im not sure how they would hold up against what I would call "professional" fairs. The kind of people that go to church fairs LOVE home knits, but artytarty is right, that items sell for a few pounds only and rarely reflect the work put in. I would say if you aim to cover cost of materials plus a little bit then that would be about right. Having said that, if you are selling something that is particularly trendy or funky, you can add a lot more onto the price. Like hats in the shape of things - with ears or antennae or something a bit different that would display beautifully would definitely sell. It does seem very unfair that you put so much work in and get so little back, but if you are knitting in front of the telly without thinking about it, I guess that's nt such an issue...I've yet to meet a millionaire knitter though, unless "craftyfox" has been keeping something from us all?!! LOL!
ANy other fairs after Easter would be much appreciated, as Im away and have missed out on a whole lot the last few weeks - sigh! Hows it been going for everyone else though?
Feel free to thank me, it makes my toes tingle and my ears go warm :T

As part of Ballyclare May Fair, there will be a craft fair in the Town Hall on Saturday 23 May. No idea how to get a table, but I'm sure if you contact the Mill on 028 9034 0000 someone will be able to help you.
