  • Great to see everyone at Belmont! It was the best fair we have done, definitely, and we will be back in December, so looking forward to seeing you all again (maybe not ALL - you know who I mean if you were there)! Belle - my daughter made good friends with yours, and spent the rest of the day playing "You're Kimmy, Im mummy" with her little sister chasing each around the house - bless! Anyone doing Lorne this weekend? They never came back to me so I think I might take the weekend off as there are so many coming up soon.

Anyway, Im off to dust down my sequinned top and my pink floppy hat, and to practice a few songs, ready for Belmont next month - LOL!

PS - YES re XFactor, now that you come to mention it Rach!!!!

Hi supermum, lovely to meet you. PS don't forget the dance routine which I was invited to watch after you left. Now that definately deserves to be on Xtra Factor . Bless her cotton sequent socks.
  • Hi I've just found and resistered on this site and am complletely confused ( nothing new there). Is it just this bit for crafters? thought it was a whole site!
Anyhow to go probably completely off topic ( sorry) does anyone know a local supplier of steel shot for weighting?
Can someone point me in the right direction if I've posted this in the wrong place?
    Thanks

For anyone who had a table at the Belmont Fair, they have some photos from Saturday up on the website! I didn't even notice mine being taken.....

  • Hi everyone, received mail from Leanne, Belmont Tower & she has asked if I could post the following info.

"It was a great day and I am just so glad that the locals came out to support it. I have read the comments on the forum, and I am really glad that it’s a positive reaction. If you could please let them know on the forum, that I aim EVERYONE gets a chance.
It may only be next year May! But, they will get a chance. We can’t fit more than 21 crafters on the day, so we are limited to space.
Also, it’s best if people actually use the website & download the forms and just send them to me.
I am busy here at work with all our bookings and the coffee shop etc, so the craft fair cant take up too much of my time during the month.
Would you mind quoting me on the forum? It would be much appreciated. Thanks very much. Leanne

Hi, yes it's only this thread that the crafters use! The only dedicated NI craft site is www.craftfairsandevents.com as far as I know but it is £20 to register and nobody really posts on the forum so you'd be paying £20 for viewing their calendar - most of which dates are on here!! It's a bit time consuming but if you scroll back through the pages you'll find details of forthcoming events which various people have posted. Since it's really only craft people who look at this thread you may be better posting your query under the general 'Northern Ireland' page. Welcome to the motley crew!!:D
