    Talk about ups and downs in our life. :o

    This morning our 19 year old cat died :cry:
    I have been home and DD and I buried him in a box, wrapped in a favourite blanket of his.
    And then I had to e-mail the family to tell them.
    He was quite a character and will be sorely missed.

    Popeye phoned and then I cried.

    Odd how down it has made me feel.

    On reflection I think I sent Popeye a rather harsh e-mail to tell him the news:
    I've just had to pop home and bury the cat (he was dead)

    I guess I shouldn't have been surprised that he thought I was joking........:o

    but I'm glad it happened with DD and me in the house, he was curled up on the sofa with us last night watching Spooks. :)
