Just got back from Whsmith in Leeds..Silver and red velvety table runners in a box with napkins were £19.99 now 49p...Everything cristmassy seems to be 49p...£5.99 christmas cards are now 49p.Thanks to the OP for the earlier thread....Spent a total of £8.19 and got 17 items.....bargain!

Haven't had time to look myself, but will do so at the weekend. Had actually picked up most of my next years wrapping paper, string etc.. at Tesco and Superdrug last week. OH though I was mad for buying so much, but a lot of it will do for birthday's too.

just got to whsmiths at the right time - when they were reducing ALL christmas cards, crackers, paper,accessories etc for only 49p!

I grabbed 10 sets of paper which was reduced from £7.99 to 49p and stuff for the christmas tree reduced from £13.99 to 49p - you better hurry as its all going fast! pity i didnt find any crackers though!

went to my local whsmiths today, not a very big store, picked up some wrapping paper and cards.

This offer doesn't appear to be in all stores.

Visited WHSmiths (London Victoria) and they are still selling Christmas stuff at half price. Took a representative sample of cards and wrapping paper to the till for checking and all came up at the marked price.

Hopefull they'll get the revised prices in the next few days.

Got lots of 49p goodies in Guildford WHS today, then got friend to go in and get some too! She was very impressed at getting all next years cards for a few pounds!

I bought quite a bit in WHS Liverpool yesterday. The girl on the till told me they had to put prices through manually as tills weren't being updated until today. Hopefully your WHS should now have them reduced.

Got lots of 49p decorations and cards in York today!

i got outdoor lights reduced from £13.99 to £1.99 and some flocked notebooks and stationary type stuff redcued from various prices to 99p.
