Porting from CPW O2 to O2 direct

Does anyone know if you can port from CPW O2 to O2 direct, and do you need to get a PAC code from CPW

Thanks

It would depend on your contract with CPW Jay whether you are still in contract or not. If ok then they should issue you with a PAC to MIGRATE not port as you are staying on the same network.

I'm on the simplicity package so not tecnically in a contract. I phoned up and asked for a PAC code they told me to write into them and they gave me a reference number to quote. Is that the correct way?

    Hi Jay,

I'm guessing they have their own procedures for it, I wouldn't make someone do that but then I don't work for CPW or 02. Did they say you could e-mail the request in? then it would be easy for them then to hit reply with your PAC code?

snail mail? does anyone do that any more? Have they not heard of paperless offices and saving trees! ;-)

I can understand them wanting something in writing so they have a papertrail (no pun intended). Surely a fax or e-mail would suffice?

.....and my customers who have come over from the fruity network have not had to put pen to paper.

worth asking if you can e-mail or fax. tell em you're snowed in and can't get to the postbox :rotfl:

You can't use a pac code to transfer to the same network, only from one to another. . .
