just checking out the scrapbook inspirations mag - keep saying to myself -no!no!no! you cannot possibly start that!!! :rotfl:Too much to do already i'm afraid and saving every **** penny. :-) Although i might be partial to the occasional homemade card. :-) We're still covered in snow, so no gardening :-( . Any news on when spring's coming? :-)

jammy I think we're lucky to have such a friendly helpful thread. I've been on a few other threads and it's amazing how many people pull you down when you're trying to help - we are safe with the thrifty girls. Found the old style board very nice but I tend to just lurk round there.

I know what you mean tho it is suprising how many rude people there are out there. This is the only board i actually talk on alot coz to be honest its the only thread where i was made to feel welcome. All the other threads have there regular posters and any one new gets ignored abit. x x

Welcome back Jammy - I've been to the dark side and come scurrying back with my jarmies pulled over my head having asked what i thought was a reasonable question and was basically told I was stupid!

Anyhooo I'm feeling very full as have just been to Frankie and Benny's for OH's birthday. OH nearly hid under the table as I was paying and had a text to get £5 off - so my huge slab of banana cheesecake was free :j:j.

Didn't think I'd done much today but discovered I've made 2 cards, done a load of washing, changed the spare bed where the cat was sick (eeewwww) and tidyed the room, tidyed our room and put all my jewellery into the jewellery box that I've had for 2 years - think I might have a day off tomorrow once I've done the ironing :T.

Totally agree, this is the nicest thread on here, its like coming back to old friends, there are a few other nice threads, but some people I'm sure they just come on the board to cause a row,:mad: and they would swear black is white.:mad:
