Happy Wednesday ASC! Glad you are having a nice day!
101 in 1001..yikes couldnt do 1001 in 101!! 1001 is actually quite good..it is 2.7 years so I feel like it is all achievable!

  • Thanks for all the support guys, felling much chirpier today, think it was one of those days that everything just gets to me, its normally water off a ducks back. Didnt manage to have a soak as LO decided not to go to sleep until after 10:00, so it was up & down with him, but I did manage to sneakily eat a couple of bassets sherbet fountains, mmmmm, my fav non-chocolate sweet :) Jan 19th is meant to be the most depressing day of the year so I guess I was a bit late, or maybe very organised & early for next year :)

Just rang boots about my lost parcel & they say it was delivered to the wrong depot, the system hasnt been updated due to glitches but it hasnt been returned to sender so I've just got to wait at the moment & possibly ring back tomorrow if the system still hasnt been updated. I slipped in the comment that I need them asap as my SILs are heavily preggers, & you never know when one may go pop. He did say that the sale would definately be back up online but couldnt give a date - wonder if I can save a few quid up for it, I'd like to get a few more pressies to tick off some more family members - I have a fairly big family, theres 10 adults to buy for, 6 children (2 my own) & 2 babies due in April, these are all immediate family.

Hope your daughter feels better Rufusd!!!2 & you dont catch anything, Whats "home page friends" ? I havent heard of them.

I wondered where you'd got to PML, (thought I wasnt drinking enough coke!)
OUCH!!! how'd you do that? would it be less painfull to type with the blunt end of a pencil & have your injured finger out the way? I shall make use of your PM box if I feel down again :) Out of the Rudolph day I expect lots of piccys & noseying at what everyone else has been upto, maybe a challenge or 2 to get done for the next one (e.g, make a list of everyone who sent cards this year & make sure all their addresses are upto date & stored) & possibly a couple of tips.

I'm getting good at long posts, lol, hope you guys are sitting with a cuppa :p

p.s why wont it let me put rufus dog 52 together?

Not sure exactly if you mean you want to save so you have some money to spend, or that you feel bad for spending money. If the latter..then buy the presents and spend the year making the money back in some way (money neutral:T)

  • Well, I felt a lil bad about spending yesterday until I put a few more ticks in my gift book, my sis said the day before "you should get a pad or book to write what you've got & for who" I just said "like this one I'm filling in" as I picked it up, lol.

But I did mean set aside/save some money to go towards the online sale - & yep, I'm all for being money neutral this year, shall be taking piccies today & start listing on ebay tomorrow, apparently Sunday evening is when items seem to sell at their best, & listing on thursday for 10days gives people 2 weekends to spot the items.

I dont know why it doesnt like my name haha. It always does that. As for home page friends its a site where you can have the search box up the top right of your browser changed to their search (goes through Yahoo) and then they pay you so much for every search you do through them. It has conditions though. http://www.myhpf.co.uk/. Have a read through and see if its for you. I dont do as many searches through them since Christmas as I had an email saying I wasnt doing them right and they might take me off it altogether and seeing as they owe me £49 dont want to upset them until I get the money.

Well im so not going to be money neutral this year the amount ive spent on card making and scrap book stuff is stupid :s I dont think ill be buying anything else for the next few years anyway thats if i can bring myself to cutting any of it lol
My boots order arrived and my lovely mum has suggested that 'cause I stayed up and ordered it (on her card though) that I can have my name on the bottom of the gift tags and thats me done for xmas for extended family now bar a few selection boxes and pjs for little people anyway hehe
I guess i need to read this thread more often though! (seriously missing the banter from before Xmas)
Love is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart,
Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy,And sometimes life can be deceiving,
I'll tell you one thing, its always better when we're together
  • sounds good to me Rufus, do you want to PM me your referal link? Then you can get your 10%, nice lil bonus for introducing me to something new in the way of becoming money neutral :) Tried googling o*g*5* to try & find out why it gets !!! looks like its a clothing make, wonder if they've spammed

Bet that helps Phunkles, a well deserved gesture your mom made, so do you get to help spend the points as well?

Sorry Julie, never tried ebid, from what I've read ebay has more customers (& idiots) so theres a better chance of selling things for higher,

PLM – we are expecting gift packs a-plenty for Rudolph Day ...and T-Shirts that say “Rudolph club” ...oh and antlers too :D lol! Nope, I think it is just a good day to work towards and then focus for a little while each month on xmas! I have been meaning to say, young Furrypig always calls you PML...so I now always think of you as PinkMelLady! Lol! Sorry to hear about your poorly finger L I can’t wait for the new scrap apprentice pics to be up properly. Lovely shade of orange/yellow you used on one of them! Never used coredinations before so feel I may have to treat myself! :)

Sorry Pinkladymel that I've been writing PML instead of PLM!!!:o :o

I think it's because PML is an abbreviation for a rather horrid brain disease (not that that reminds me of you or anything!) but I have looked after people with it in the past so I obviously had it in my head.... sorry:rolleyes:

Thanks so much Jammy for saying young furrypig when I'm the oldest (at least of everyone who has put their ages on UKS!!!):rotfl:
