jammy - can you register for the voucher offers every time they come up on qype? example - can you get the virgin £50 even though you might have already got the amazon £50?
yep! :) be quick though, its the first 1000 to sign up X

you can spend the vouchers in virgin cosmetics, which also does homeware stuff now so candles etc. might make some nice gifts for some one. :)

Good for you....just had a read at your list!
In my 39th year I had planned to do many things, not a written list as such more a mental one.One of them was to go ice skating with my children, I did this on the day after my 39th b'day......having not skated in 23 years..........fell and broke my coccyx Ouch! others were to read a lot more books , I do read anyway but feel there are so many books in the world I haven't read. So go for it!:D

mhagster - well done on getting a star :T

Just had a look at the 101 things in 1000 days..............some good positive things there to do. Not sure I could do them all in that space of time though. Might make a note of them though.........:o

Have just made my first dammit doll ! :T (pats self on the head) Had to do it all by hand and sorry no piccys (don't have all that hi tech stuff) - just as well as its not finished yet and looks a bit c**p ! I'm trying to give it some hair and think there's got to be an easier way than sewing 3 strands at a time and tying them in a knot -I'll be at it forever:eek:

  • how do you get mse stars?i want some!!
just been on qype as well, i find that if you think of all the smaller shops or some of the bigger ones that aren't in the town centre nobody has normally reviewed them! I did things like the silver cross shop, and the next where i work, which is on a retail park, as everyone tries to review the city centre stores! hope this helps someone! Think i'm up to about £15 so far better get cracking!
I have finally covered my scrapbook, but not taken any pics yet-got some gorgeous pink fabric with cream polka dots-i love it! Keep meaning to start inside, but i've somehow lost my scissors. got a feeling they may have got wrapped up in a chrismas pressie as thats the last time i remember seeing them!

clara - think you get a star according to how many times you post on a thread.

How do you cover scrapbooks with material ? (what glue do you use etc.)
I want to do a scrapbook for baby grandson for his birthday in June and bought a cheap one with plastic type cover. Was also thinking about covering some shoe boxes for christmas and birthday pressies as well but can see me getting in a bit of a pickle
