I apologise I took advantge of this offer0

Just got the mini catalogue for the Littlewood's mid-season sale. The Mera Peak, which they put back up to £280, is going down to £120 on Monday, all sizes, colours Granite (grey) and Midnight (dark blue). Anyone who missed out last time might want to grab one!I only exist in my own mind - if you can see, hear or read me, you are a product of my imagination.0
-
Are there any codes for first time buyers flying around?:j0
-
I got £30 off my first purchase, which was, funnily enough, a Mera Peak.
Have a look on the 'Discount Codes 'n Vouchers' board, I'm sure you'll find one.I only exist in my own mind - if you can see, hear or read me, you are a product of my imagination.0 -
Should this be on 'gone' as it's still running...or will be on Monday0

Not sure why this thread has been moved tonight
- it had been sitting on the 'Grabbit' board for weeks and I posted again, this afternoon, that the jackets were being reduced again in Littlewoods sale starting Monday (13th March), so it's far from 'Gone', in fact it hasn't even come yet! Can it be moved back, please?

Showing as a low stock item first thing - so ordered mine - only XL in granite available. UPDATE - Has now gone, Out of Stock showing, perhaps they only had one?
Used a few codes and order confirmation shows £92.60 for the Mera Peak High Performance (not XCR - which isn't showing as reduced). We'll see what I get charged!0 -
Well I couldn't find one code that worked for me?...non of the money off next order ones worked.0

I took advice from the shop I bought it from and bought their special cleaning liquid (about £5 a small bottle). The jacket did say it could be washed on the label. The jacket came up nice and clean but it was no longer breathable. I took it back to the shop and they refused to do anything saying I shouldn't have washed it.
I asked them to return it to the manufacturers for their opinion/testing. The manufacturers agreed it was no longer breathable and I was given an exchange. I wouldn't spend a lot of money again on a pale coloured jacket.

Washing Aquafoil and GORE-TEX® garments
We recommend that all our GORE-TEX® garments are hand/machine washed at no more than 40°C. Aquafoil should be hand washed at no more than 30°C. Use pure liquid soap only, do not use any fabric softners or biological washing powders.
The garments may be tumble dried at a low heat setting, but must be removed from the drum immediately when the machine stops.
Washing instructions can be found in the left hand side seam or left hand pocket and should always be adhered to. Our garments are not suitable for dry cleaning.
The GORE-TEX® fabric and Aquafoil outer layers in all cases are treated with a Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish which causes water droplets to bead and run off the garment. Over time, the outer treatment deteriorates but can be rejuvenated by either tumble drying at a low heat setting or ironing on the outer face on a cool setting.
In some cases the chemical may have completely worn away. From the products available in the market place we have found, from our own in-house lab tests, that Granger’s Extreme Cleaner Plus, Extreme Synthetics or XT Spray gave good results in water repellency without affecting breathability too much.
