I posted an answer to a question, yes I did put a couple of links in there but these were to prove that KLZ does work.

I have to apologise to you regarding people unwilling to get off their butts and put in the work. Sounds like you did exactly what was expected of you and sadly it didn't pay off. But not everyone wants to put in the effort required. A lot of people still think that after a few drops they will be making a full time wage on part time hours, if only!
I'm pleased to read your post about you doing well with Avon, I don't know too much about them, apart from the fact that they sell cosmetics and beauty products. My mum used to get their book when I was much younger, (I'm 38 now) and she ordered regularly.
With regard to you selling your books, I would use them but I think posting them to me would be expensive. The order forms would come in useful but I guess you would want to sell the kit as a complete set. Can you give me prices for the catalogues and order forms? I am assuming that they are all in good condition and come with the snap-bags?
Jim
We were thinking of selling them all (approx 120 books, with sale and health & beauty mags, plus the bags) for £50 including the catapuller that we bought. They do all have the snap bags - but just googled your location and it's a little far!!! We live in Derbyshire!!! So obviously collection is out of the question, and as you say postage would be a lot.
No need to apologise, I know from the posts on here that lots of people have tried expecting easy, quick returns from Kleeneze! Just not looking forward to telling our sponsor that we are quitting!!!!!!:o As she will probably assume we haven't put the effort in, and are giving up too soon. She keeps saying that there is always space for another distributor - but the last round we did, we got £27.50 worth of orders from 140 books! So in our case, Avon is definately the way to go!!!!
I'd be interested to hear how you get on with Kleeneze in the future:beer:Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -
I've got someone coming to see me on Tues as i'm interested in starting Betterware - can anyone give me the 'heads up' on how it all works?0

I did it for a 3 months it's about 20 percent commision
and the area manager calls at your door every week to collect the money
the rest is yours (commision)
books are free and you are given your own patch, 'streets so unlike kleenezee there's no risk of anyone stealing your customers!
I'm doing avon right now but only selling to friends and family as i have no time for territory anymore.0 -
I used to be an area co-ordinator for Betterware and they were pretty good to work for, for distributors there were no start up fee no charges for brochures I had some distributors who had been doing it for years. None of these types of jobs are a get rich quick type of job they take dedication perserverance and rely on you building up a good customer base. It is good in lots fo ways that you have a specific territory with Betterware as it means you get exclusitivity for your streets (til Kleeneze comes along, they can go anywhere which encourages 'cherry picking' best streets) Kleeneze and Betterware deal in same type of products in general so there is a conflict there and I have known there to be many arguments bet Kleeneze agents and Betterware agents 'stepping on each others toes'...also customers can tend to get fed up cos if they have had 2 or 3 Kleeneze brochures through their door off different distributors over course of same few weeks they don't want any more and often get Betterware and Kleeneze mixed up anyway...if you can bag the customer you will probably keep them for that reason, they don't want catalogue after catalogue through the door and with Betterware it tends to run on a four to six week cycle depending on how many houses you have so you are not bombarding them every week. I always found the products sold well though I agree there are cheaper places to buy them, I suppose its the convenience of having them delivered to your door and I used t find we had alot of older customers. But as I say it takes dedication to build up your customer base, esp if someone in your area previous to you was unreliable, you may find that some people will tend to check out if you come back for the book when you say you will etc for a few weeks before they will trust you enough to order. I have also done Avon (I found that quite good) and was interested in Phoenix lovely products but it did dawn on me that you gotta sell a hell of alot of cards at £1,20ish a pop to make a decent amount of money out of that...at least with Avon there is a mixture of body products, make up and gift ideas and prices from £1 to £20+ so you can get some big orders with them esp around Christmas.0
