Ok...So I flew out to Amsterdam with EasyJet from Gatwick on the 29th December and stayed until the 1st January when I made the return trip. Lost luggage can happen with any airline. EasyJet didn't handle your lugagge, airport employees did. If you only got half of what your stuff was worth it sounds like your beef should be with your insurance company.
