...and back to Adams. Went in there (Harrow branch) yesterday and was very surprised to see many items being sold at full price and, in my opinion, a little pricey (£18 for a baby outfit which might last a month or two tops?).
Staff seemed sure they'd find a buyer but having been 'credit crunched' myself, I can't see how without upping their footfall with lower prices they can expect to survive in this environment.
Yes, nice stuff. Pricey though! The thanks button is here to the right. If you find a post saves you money, gives you useful information, or you agree with it, take a second to thank the poster!

I agree, can be expensive full price, it's one of the shops that in the past has always had a 'sale' (usually nothing that you would want to buy).BUT v glad my local is remaining open, for the time being.0 -

My local one usually seemed to have a "buy one get one half price" offer running but even then the clothing seemed expensive, and not particularly exciting (for boys anyway) imo when you can go into somewhere like H&M and get really trendy stuff for less!0 -
Yep - Focus hasn't gone into Admin...They just restructured about 1 yr ago (but I would agree that they're on the "next" list...)
Pier and Morgan de Toi need to be added.
Obsessing about remortgaging and interest rates all day, every day:)0 -

went to have a look today and the shutters were down there were no shop fittings left up the shop had about 40 black bags that i assume was stock left over
as i was walking past a few men came up to the shop with those blue crete things prehaps they had come to collect all the stock
dont know where or what is going to happen to the stock
i should have been nosey and asked but im a bit shy:o0
