That's what I got told to do when I had a tooth out though salt gargle - keeps it clean and cuts down chances of infection. See I can be sensible sometimes...;)

    Hey guys!

Spud - why not PM Linda BOS, as she's a dental nurse, she can maybe set you up with her professional opinion......

The run was hard going tonight, i still had sore legs from saturday!! we had the choice of a 3k or a 5k route, and i was sure i would have opted for 5k, but TBH, i was glad to just do 3k in the end.. fast (for me!) though as we did it in 27 mins...

chilly out and slippy underfoot but don't think it's as cold up here in Aberdeenshire as you guys have it down the road... or maybe you're just a bunch of softies! It has been anywhere between -4 and 0 pretty much the last few weeks here....
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

Hey folks - re the electric - there is a gadget you can buy- think Maplins sell them quite cheaply- that tells you how much electricity each appliance uses.

i think we need to get me one of those, Big G is always banging on about me using the tumbledryer... maybe i should just leave a big pile of smouldering wet washing for a fortnight and see how he likes it!!!

I got one of those free from Southern Electric, I think other suppliers are providing them too. Its fab, it tells you how much power your home is using at any time.

When we first got it i switched everything off to see how much the standard things cost (fridge freezer) then started to turn things on one at a time:eek:

Even lightbulbs make the money go up, quite a bit and so do computers. I now glance at it as I pass it and quite often shout............whose got something switched on????:o I drive my family potty:D But its really good to see if you have left something on by accident.
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

Good effort in this weather, suppose it motivates you to go faster to keep warm though. We're made of strong stuff down here! We had a load of people from Edinburgh down for an xmas party whinging how cold Manchester was?! Might just be people from Edinburgh though!

Yeay, it's not me this time!:T :T still if it helped... I had to dissolve the salt in hot water then add a little cold - really unpleasant but it did work.
