I am about to give up on life.
Its got to be the emersion heater then...My washing machine is on at least once a day..I also dry everything in my tumble dryer. I don;t use the dish washer and I have an electric oven, which is on virtually every day. My heating and hot water is on gas......my electric is £85 per month and thats because I am in arrears....Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

Bookie if you were in a word document and press the ALT key hold it down and press 0163 at the same time you should then get a £ sign...it doesn't work in here though just tried it.
Are they putting it up because you owe them or have they been estimating your past bills...have you checked against the meter readings...don't let them put it up unecessarily...I would call them and tell them someone has moved out and your bills should go down...
i have just updated the readings on the website. They were estimated on 9th Dec but i only got the bill today. The readings are nearly ok but for 5th Jan not 9th Dec if tou see what I mean and it has been a heavier few weeks with the silly season.0 -

something doesn't add up bookie, are you sure there isn't an appliance that is guzzling electric. What ratings are your appliance? I am careful to some extent with our consumption but I do about 5 loads of washing a week and am around the house during the day on some days. DH has his massive electric consuming computer on every night and our electric is around £40 a month and has always been under that when the bill comes.I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway.
