sorry if the diability element for ctc applies then yes you do

    Who is eligible?

You may be eligible for a Cold Weather Payment for each week of very cold weather in your area if you get Pension Credit.
You may also be eligible for a Cold Weather Payment for each qualifying week if you are getting Income Support or income-based Jobseeker's Allowance and have a child under five or get one of the following:
    • a pensioner premium, higher pensioner premium or enhanced pensioner premium
    • a disability premium or severe disability premium
    • a disabled child premium
    • Child Tax Credit that includes an individual element for a child or qualifying young person who is disabled or severely disabled

Yes I get a disability premium added to CTC for my son. Has anyone received any payment from CTC yet? Also, other that the info on the Ch4 website, is there any way to find out if I am due a 2nd payment after the 6th Jan? My weather station is Crosby (postcode FY8)

    thanks
    Jules

edit...just phoned jobcentreplus (thurs) and they told me I qualified to receive the CWP as I receive income support and my son is in receipt of DLA, however they weren't aware of him being in receipt of DLA so it hadn't automatically triggered the payment! She updated my file and said I should receive the payment within 1 week. Fingers crossed it's sorted now

Does anyone know how you can find out what dates the payments were triggered? A lot of flats here were without water and electricity and therefore heating a few times in the last month, and if it was cold enough to trigger the payments when it happened it'll really help the complaints.
