Hiya,
well its been crazy and all over the place, have been a bit down and ive not been feeling to good - work have been awful making life so difficult for me but i suppose i just have to keep going for now until i leave in august so here is a quick update on what has been going on:
* i have finished my pay plan with egg so the arrears have been cleared - which is good but now means im back paying interest at 19.5% which is not good!!
* opened a basic bank account with natwest to get any benifits paid in to - im worried that halifax will take my £600 OD off me once my wage drops to smp so not sure if i should move my wages over too and write to the halifax for a payment plan?
* stocking up on baby things in the sales and when offers are on still wish i had more or better stuff but hey ho!
* stocking up also on pasta and washing powder ect so that we have a stock pile for when baby is here.
thats it for now ill try to keep you updated but still feeling a bit lost and down.

Ok another update - im doing ok now with baby stuff still just plodding along paying what i can - its slow but i feel better and less stressed im worried to as im starting my maternity leave soon we sat down last night and worked out the money we will have enough to keep going which is a relif indeed and i feel better for planning it out aswell - im worried about what will happen with my OD with halifax its £600 when i drop to SMP im worried that they will take that off me and it will swallow up my wages - i have a natwest step account and was thinking of moving may wages into there before i go on leave but im worried about owing them money i was thinking of writing to them and offering to pay them so much a month im worried they will add charges ect i just dont know what to do about it
any way thats all for now

Hi Cady,
Glad to hear you are doing ok.
Personally yes i would change your money to go into a different account, the last thing you want is halifax taking all your money as soon as it enters the account. Is it an interest free overdraft? I would definatly set up a payment for each month to the overdraft, but keep all other money seperate from it.Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -

God its been a while since i was on here!!! well so much has happened - im now 31 weeks and bump is growing nicely - we managed to get loads of baby things and have quite a lot sticked up - nursery is done and even got some nappies and stuff on offer and with vouchers too so thats good!!! if only everything else was as organised as the baby stuff lol well im slowly paying egg off every month (havnt updated my siggy in a while lol) but its coming down - im arranging my wages to be paid into another account and im going to write to halifax and try to arrange a payment plan with them to repay the £600 OD i have on as im worried they will just remove it from me when my wage drops!!! im worried about actual cash tho we have enought to pay the bills but not enough actual cash of petrol and other bits and bobs but hey we always survive i suppose!!! im trying to work as late as possible at work so have more £££ and more time off with baby too were taking a mortgage break which should help massivley - but the most annoying thing is the roof leaked when the weather was bad that is going to cost us £1250 the car needs a service taxing and its MOT (possible new tyres too) and the laptop broke!!! im sick of stuff breaking on me ive no idea where we are going to get the ££ from but the roof wont last winter and the car is a must - the laptop can wait i suppose but its just annoying me loads!!! its just a kick in the teeth when im about to go on my mat leave i could do without all this really!!! - sorry its been so long without an update but as the laptop is brioken im not on much!!
