Hiya im just giving an update managed to get the bargin bailiys for £5 from asda for a birthday present even tho it was manic!!!! and i helped my dad clear some stuff out the loft and found a bag full of old computer games that im going to ebay!!! a very happy girly this evening indeed!! and ive got a tesco voucher for £5 so i can get my dads fathers day present from there for £5 less woo hoo!!!!

Well today im very annoyed!!!! i got a letter of a DCA for the bank charges Halifax are refunding me !!!! or im so annoyed here is what happend...

I wrote to halifax complaining about being charged £63 for 52p OD and the agreed to refund me plus the interest they charged leaving my balance at 0.01p in credit on 13th March and the money never went in so i rang up and they said its pending so i rang and rang again and was finally told it could take upto 4 weeks to go in but assured nothing would happen so i left it and now this bloody letter!!!! im gonna write to them and the DCA enclosing a photocopy of the letter they sent me saying the charges are refunded!!!! im so angry at them its really annoyed me as it gives me something else i have to do now!!! on the plus side when i was noting that ill have to write an angry letter in my diary i noticed my car insurance is due in 30 days!!! so i shall be looking for a cheaper quote and adding to my quidco funds i think!!!! sorrry for the rant but god dont you just hate banks!!!!!

ok stuck at work today so not much of an update really ive made a blunder and ran up my phone bill an extra £20 next month grrr but on the plus side have made our baby list and are getting loads of 2nd hand stuff offerd for free which is great hope everoen had a great easter weekend!!! i might pop back later and write a bit more but not in the mood at the moment!!!!

Morning!!

well yesterday i rang the halifax to be assured that the funds would be in my account by tues so lets wait and see what that brings!!! hopefully it will finally be sorted out!!! apart from that not much to report - ive been trying to sort my car insuarance out but having no luck getting any cash back off anything so im a bit gutted about that too oh well best get ready for work. YEY the halifax have wiped the debt!!!! about bloody time!! ive been thinking about my debt and what i have left and im going to focus on my egg card for now and try my best to sort out xmas and brithdays and if i can do the OD before baby arrives then great but i wont stop trying to do both!!! the CC is my priority fo now - it may be difficult this month as have had 3 birthdays and a big phone bill but i need to keep going as time is flying and this baby will be here soon!!!

hiya well ive been off for a few days so thought id post up what ive been up to!!! the mney has finally cleared from the halifax so im really pleased!!! my car insurance is coming down and the monthly bills are getting lower indeed!!! im having a nightmare at work and have decided instead of fighting with them im just going to get my head down do what i need to do until my maternity leave then get out!!! i just dont have the energy to fight and they have started playing really dirty and i cant afford to loose my job now!!! mind you it doesnt stop me hoping the building blows up!!! so i now am going back to work and going to have to deal with the crap wage im going to have this month because i was off!! i have started making a list of birthdays and xmas stuff to get me all super organised and stuff ready for before the baby is here and i now just want to make a budget for things so i can start saving my survay money and vouchers i have £23 in my paypal account already plus some vouchers so im going to do that soon too!!! the egg card is still not getting the big chunks paid of fthat id like but i have to accept until there is big money its going to be like that and i will try my very best!!!

well its not much going on now but here it to plodding along!!!!
Off to the OS board now to help us out some more there!!!

oh god how come i do this everytime??? well ive been paid and because of all the time ive had off sick were £500 down we have just cleared our joint debt and now it seems like were going to have to see how were going to cope everything will get paid but at waht cost? te credit card the overdraft? i feel like were just keeping afloat again and god i was hoping it would be all behind us but here we are - i know there is nothing we can do but keep thinking were not moving forward at all - well £10 off egg again this month and im making meal plans for when we shop this month and god knows how the car is going to run but im just so mad at myself that i didnt drag myself into work but here we go its in the past so moving forward im not sure how to cope till next payday but me and OH are going to sit down tonight and work it out.

Sorry to hear that you didnt get paid as much as you budgeted for. I dont really have an useful advice, except meal planning etc...

Try not to worry too much - easier said than done i know, but you need to think of the baby!

Hope you manage to come up with a plan B!
