    Hi Cady
really sorry to hear that youare having such a tough time with your pregnancy. Here are some suggestions in no particular order
    1) go to a health food shop and get some crystallised ginger, it really helps if you have morning sickness
    2) well done on your sis getting stuff of freecycle, but it is still worth getting yourself signed up as well. Then you could put a want on say for maternity clothes. You will be surprised how many people can't be bothered to ebay baby related stuff! Also have a look in the local paper for stuff, and shop windows too.
    3) I really feel for you that you get no benefits. Have you checked to see what working families tax credits you will get once baby is here? And will you not get the sure start grant too? £500 that is? Also don't forget to put on your list about filling in the child benefit form and getting it sent off as soon as you are able too. It also might be worth playing around with the payment calculator on www.entitledto.co.uk cos it MAY be worth you actually giving up work and therefore not paying out for childcare than it is you working...
On the subject of money there are loads more sites for doing surveys, also you can do reviews of things too. eg dooyoo and also onepoll.co.uk (google them to find out more). I also do lightspeed surveys, and they do paypal payments too, and they are very good about paying out.
You mention that you are both in low paying jobs, is there anything that maybe your OH can do to get a better paying position, or even just a second job whilst you are pregnant to take a load of worry off you? I know times are tough, but could he do retraining online or something? And don't forget that HE can sign up for survey sites etc, and he may even get more surveys as he is a bloke, and they tend to need men more to make the survey balanced.
Ref the car loan, double check that you didn't get missold PPI on that as well. You might also want to check the paperwork to see if you can overpay the loan. I know you are not in a position to at the moment but it would be handy to know.
Right I will stop now as this has turned into a bit of an essay...lol
good luck with your journeys to parenthood and debt freeness

    hiya!!!

just popped back in to say having a good day still and thanks for the replies!!!

Damita - thanks i dont feel like im doing too well but the fact im still moving in the right direction is a start!!!

chevalier - thanks for taking the time to post the benifits thing is crazy were both only 23 so dont get anything until baby is born - dont qualify for sure start £500 either the only things i do get is the new £190 grant available to everyone and the voucher for £250 to invest - will get benifits once baby is here and we worked out me working part time is better than working full time and paying for the child care - me and OH's jobs are quite low paying but is enough to pay a mortgage run a car and have a baby - mine is the worst and i was looking to change jobs just as i found out i was expecting im still going too look for afterwards as i hate my job anyway and would love a bettter one too!!! i signed up for a few more sites for survays too but OH finds them a waste of time - he is not as MS as me!!! on a plus note he has just paid £100 off our debt out of his money so dont mind him not doing them - i do them at work anyway haha naughty i know!!! my loan has no PPI on which i suppose is a good thing too and can be over paid at anytime as we had been looking into this when the mortgage comes down in nov (on a fixed rate) as a 2nd job goes i work shift work and cant really take one on plus being 5 month preg is not good! i can do overtime at work but some days just cant manage an 8 hour shift let alone more!!! im hoping with some good planning and some careful lifestyle choices we can get by for now im just taking it month to month for now and doing what i can the mortgage is hugely expensive at the min and were tied in till nov 09 so when that comes out it should make a difference and give us a bit breathing space too!!! im thankful that im doing something about it now however small and even though having the baby will be tough financally im looking forward to it soooo much!!!!

Anyway i did only just pop in to say thanks for your replies and say my day is still going well but it looks like essay writing is catching lol!!!

    morning!!!

The sun is shining again and i feel ok - moved all my money around so every bill is coverd and i havnt spent a penny of my wages yet!! seperated my petrol money from my SO money and my DD money so when the have all moved and the SO and DD's have gone i know what i have left for the rest of the month so i feel at least a bit organised which helps me out - ive decided that everyday im going to check my account balance online then i know what has come and gone - i usually start off good at the beginning of the month then guess the rest and run out a week before payday so im gonna try so hard this month and try to finish with money in the bank!!! right off to check my present drawer as forgot to yesterday then off into town to get the shopping in!!!

    Have a good day everyone!!
