Done another load of washing and TD is on.
Need to find my little recipe book so i can make bread, it has been AWOL for some time now.

  • My jobs aren't finished. But do you know what I'm going to do next? I'm going to spend half an hour knitting. Not very Flylady, I know, but this year I'm going to have a bit of me time.

I've also put away all the Christmas china, taken DD to doctors for more tests, and whisked into S'bury's for bread and milk.

Our road is like a skating rink this morning, but the main roads are all right when you reach them. OH decided to work at home today, but there is a glitch with the remote access to work, and he's having a massive sulk as he'll have to go in the afternoon. I'm hiding in the corner of the livingroom staying well out of the way until he's left! I may go and pick up his new bedside cabinet this afternoon to cheer him up.

Hope the poorly ones are feeling better soon, especially mudbath and likklegibbon.

Vanilla very happy to hear the news!!

Gryfon - I've read that the best way to organise your wardrobe is to hang all like items together eg shirts, skirts, dresses, trousers etc. Each section is then arranged according to colour. The idea is so you can see exactly what you have, and avoid buying yet another white shirt.
Another idea is to have an afternoon trying on all of the clothes you own, in different combinations. Any item that does not go with anything else is either out or you make a note of what you need to make it an outfit and buy it.Take photos of the ones that you like and stick on inside of wardrobe door for instant reference. (Try and do this with a good friend!!)
Anything that is out of season could very well be packed away - I rather fancy those vacuum pack bags that make a very neat parcel.
I would also get rid of anything that doesn't make you feel great, and anything you really know you don't have a chance of ever fitting into again!

The remaining six items should fit very nicely into the drawers!!:D

I have hardly any clothes, as I lost quite a bit of weight a couple of years ago, and so got rid of all my clothes - I haven't yet got around to replacing them all - I really did try over the holiday, but I'm not a very keen shopper. I need to take DD with me really as she's very good at making me try on stuff I wouldn't on my own, then she makes me buy it - I usually think I'll not bother, or I'll get it next time, or I don't really need it...

dusty - you posted while I was typing - good luck at the hospital, and best wishes for your nan. Be really persistent!!
