whoever is 'upping my thanks'..thank you!
Notice Oddjob has kept his head down today.
I am STILL in the long johns - the heating is on but I am not hot! Just comfy. I did the bathroom friday so it ain't bad...
Have ironed todays washing which dried enough outside so I didn't need to use the TD. It's airing on the maiden now.
Have also got HM cottage pie (for the kids) and HM veggie chilli (free on green - for me) out of the freezer. Well done me for remembering...
Just been in my e mail and have an 'important security update from Abbey National' e mail. It's in my junk - I am CERTAIN it must be a scam because although I do have an account with them I don't bank online with them...any clue if I can forward it to them?Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

hello to all the newbies
Right, dinner and a complete mess made. Still not used to my electric cookerSo I will s&s the kitchen and print off Monday's list for DD lol. I think I've got it cracked. As long as I print a list off for her or write it down, she is happy to do it. Strange girl! Btw, she is 15 so I'm not that cruel

I'm in - thanks pigpen
or at least I'll try to be. I have to haul myself out of bed at the ungodly hour of around 6 tomorrow to go back to the dreaded work so there wont be much flying done.
I will print the list off tonight and leave instructions for the children to [strike]start it[/strike] do specific jobs to give me a head start for tomorrow evening. Well thats if DS is still at home, I dont actually know when he goes back but as he's 6th form he can work it out for himself.
Still havent finished DD's room as spent far too much time on here and I still have to find/iron my work gear. The kitchen has been cleaned after the late lunch so hopefully the kids wont mess it up too much if they go trawling for more food.
PS hello to all the new peeps and dont worry about trying to keep up, we cant all keep up eitherMortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -
I wonder how Dusty is today - did she listen to Dolly whilst cooking the dinnner?I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Yep - it's a phishing scam...they want me to enter my details - yeah right!
Have forwarded it to Abbey and marked it as a phishing scam for MSN...

My M.A.C.A.W challenge this week is.............. spend at least half an hour a day playing WITH the kids rather than watching them play or cooking/cleaning/hiding while they play  and if DS2 has a nap then spend quality time with DS1 rather than taking advantage of the break to cook/clean/read/go on here
Take old MW outside
Set up new one
Put together new Shoe Rack

Washing up daytime
Washing up evening
Put Laundry away from yesterday (may get on top of this one day:rolleyes: )

I'm in as I HAVE to do something about the mess round here!
The problem is I leave the house at 6.45 a.m and return absolutely shattered at 5p.m on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays and on Weds and Thurs levae house @ 9.30 a.m and I'm not home til 7.45 p.m!
I also work approx one Saturday morning per month...................so when do I fit everything else in???
BTW I live with hubby, daughter and fiance and son who all work as well.....
I think my only option is a cleaning lady LOL!! NOT very money saving though!0 -

If you do have online with Abbey sign in and somewhere on theirmsite they will ask you to report this, if you dont do online banking with them phone them sometime this week and they may want you to forward a copy of the email, normally they use sent emailed to track where they are coming from and issue an alert to all customers.0
