  • I'm in Pigpen but may be following my own list. T'tis D-day for DH's job so we'll see how it goes - scary possibly, but not the end of the world I hope.

Either way OS ways are needed and a resort/cull of our finances to get through a few months. So I have a list of things to research as necessary.

Will pop in when I can,

    Help! No page numbers?
Hope everyone's had a good Sunday. We went to Asda, I got all the food on the list and some clothes for the boys out of their Christmas money.

Took recycling :) (a whole boot full!), but no trip to the dump :(

Went to my parents as DD1 insisted, we hadn't planned to but I had left my camera there yesterday so at least I got that back.
Told her all about this thread and she's thinking about joining (she's mastered Facebook!), her flat is utter chaos as my younger sister left a lot of her rubbish behind when she moved out and her and youngest sister were sharing a room so it's now a dreadful state. Also they often end up with random misgreants crashing on the sofa for days/weeks/months, all of whom tend to leave random possesions behind. The flat is seriously cluttered, though it's never dirty or even particularly messy (except when my kids go round!), just sooooo full of things!

MW and shoe rack arrive from Argos tomorrow, need to take old MW out but may leave that until daylight as it'll need to live in the garden with the last MW!
OH cooked dinner!!!! Lovely chicken stir-fry (from scratch of course) it's one of his "dishes", that and Chilli Con Carne. So of course I insist we have those every week!

Must do the dishes and S&S the kitchen before I go to bed...

Hopefully by the time I post this the numbers will have returned to the page and I'll be able to read today's posts [confused]

    I replied to it!!

    So you did! Thank you!

I wish I had hair like Hagrid, at least it would have some bounce and body then! My hair is extremely fine and so straight you could use it as a ruler and it never stays 'just so'. It moves it straightness into the strangest of angles. This morning I got up and I had the best mohican ever fashioned by the most fashionable of West End hairdressers!

It is interesting going through the old threads. I started doing Flylady in June 2006 and in September 2006 posted this:

I have a completely clean, attractive and clutter free house for the first since the boys were born!:T

I have had another day off work today, and can finally say at 14.03 this afternoon (briefly) the house was clean and all the clutter is gone. It can't last, I am picking the boys up from nursery soon........

It has taken months of baby steps and some intensive work in the last few weeks but I am so pleased with myself

so there is hope for everyone else! Haven't had a clean house again since though - I did that to sell the last one.

Original posters who still post - Nicki, Penelope Penguin, Cha Michelle, Denise NZ, Dusty Kitten and me so far. Fascinating (and yes I should be ironing and putting the boys to bed)

I'm in again! Thanks pigpen :D

stressedout, lizzie, loki and urg - welcome (to the madhouse!!)

pigpen - am not appreciating your dance about loving school :p

flower - sounds like he is ok to drive short distances but, you're right, it may well ache after 2 hours!! Mine still does after about 30 mins. I have a cushion on my lap so I can rest my elbow which helps. Hope he is ok.

S'pose I should look at the list ................
