i'll have a cuppa FF, mine went cold as well
well done on the spare room will try and start on mine tomorrow
tea on, dishes all done and toys rehomed(still in the LR but tidy behind a chair)....sand and beads do not go upstairs0 -
My list is all done for today and I managed an extra washing load - very CAREFULLY before anyone shouts at me. I feel so much better today for starting to do things again - sometimes a bit of normality is all that's needed!
I'm going to make DDs tea tonight. Again, i'll get told off by DH but a pie isn't exactly heavy!!!! DD walked home on her own which was worrying (for me) but she's fine. It's only a two minute walk so I need to get over it! I'll be more worried tomorrow when they both have to walk home together!!! Do I trust them? xx0 -
Today's list now looks like:-
1. [strike]dry clothes away[/strike]/[strike]ironing[/strike]/[strike]WM on x 2[/strike]/[strike]hang up[/strike]
2. [strike]take DS to park/walk out[/strike]
3. [strike]make HM naan (one for eating, one/two for freezer) and curry[/strike]
4. [strike]finances[/strike]
5. [strike]e-mails[/strike]
6. [strike]put Christmas stuff away[/strike]
7. [strike]quick 'once over'noticeable areas[/strike]
(8. make thank you cards)
So thank-you cards will be carried over, making tomorrow's list as follows:-
1. make macaroni cheese and garlic doughballs.
2. check smoke alarm.
3. make thank you cards
4. fold and put away any dry clothes
5. emails
6. finances
7. lots of playtime with DJ!
8. deep clean high chair
9. clean kitchen and porch floor
10. recycling tub
11. WM on x 2
12. hang up x 2
13. hoover through house
Hope all are well and happy flying.

A new thread is starts on a Sunday evening via a link from the current thread so keep a watch out and dive in!
Make sure you read the first post carefully as it contains all the info and abbreviations that we use!
A new list is added to the 1st post every evening by pigpen our illustrious leader and by the weekend you will have been round the whole house.
Dont get stressed with the mess just try to do the list to whatever level you can manage depending on your home circumstances - work, children OH's!!!!
Even if you only manage level 1 everyday when you come back to that room next week you will find it is easier and as time goes on it becomes more manageable and you will see huge differences - I know it sounds impossible but I can vouch for the fact it works!!!
Remember your home didnt get in a mess overnight so dont expect it to get tidy in a day!! Dont try to do the whole house at once - you will tire yourself out and sicken yourself - we have all tried it!! BABYSTEPS - little and often and you will be amazed at the improvement.
POst what you have done and forget about what you missed - there is no such thing as failure on here!!!
Dont worry if you cant keep up with the thread it moves very fast just now - just pop in and post and let everybody know how you are doing!
The support, encouragement and friendship on here is simply THE BEST! ask any questions and we will give you our tuppence worth - sometimes sensible sometimes totally insane!
We dont bite - well most of us dont -have fun!!
WELCOME to the totally bonkers mad house!!!!

well, i'm back, with frostbite:rotfl:
it started to snow while i was out
it's meant to be arctic the next day or so
am i imagining it, or is it colder than last year?
i forgot to turn the hot water boiler on before i left, so i have to wait for it to heat up now!
*rant warning*
there is too much dog poop on the pavements where i live, it's a health risk, and i hate worrying that we'll walk some into the house and get it on the carpets etc:mad: There are signs warning of fines, but no-one takes any notice!
I don't want to pick up dog poo or have to always go walkies, so I don't have a dog! Surely if you have a dog, you have to do these things, or you shouldn't have one?!
the street cleaners also always come round the day before bin day, instead of the day after, which would make more sense, cos there's always rubbish lying around after the bin men have been! aarrrrrrgggghhhhh:mad: and they don't clear up the dog poo either!!

Hello:hello:
 Now your on page 25:eek: I haven't read page 1 yet.
Anyway I slipped, glided and skidded my way around my run at work this morning. But thankfully got back in one piece.
Doggy has been for a play in the snow along with me, DD (no school today as all the pipes were frozen apparently) and DH. Then doggy got bathed and smells much nicer now;)
Off to attempt to catch up a bit with Fred and then some flying to be done.0 -
As well as work... which has been sorting out lots of admin for year end...
I have called the tree surgeon to ask him to call back to arrange a date, made all my online payments, written the cheque for the window cleaner to post tomorrow, done my expenses (cover sheet & receipts ready to take in, copy and send off tomorrow), sorted out my HR paperwork (new girl's paperwork will be done for this month's payroll), tried to book an appointment to give blood, made a dentist appointment (seeing as my gum infection won't go away) and filed lots of stuff that was on my desk!
Need to go and get a couple more cakes going now... I think my parents are back from doing the shopping0
