Toots, I will be in for your 2-2.30, then taking DS1 to doctors.

Flower - I signed up to Flylady back in 2006. House was a total mess, full of dirt and clutter (and 1000s of lovely books) and I was sinking fast. Needed to clear it both for sanity and to sell it. It took three months of hard work and gross neglect of the children but finally one shiney happy day I could officially say the entire grotty terrace was clean and tidy. The estate agents came a few days later and I managed to keep it clean for several months till we moved and it all went a bit off plan. Glad you spotted the Why Don't You reference, we must be a similar age group :o

Makes total sense now - I did that when we were selling - mmmm, maybe if I pretend we're selling again, I might get it like it again - actually, council house, even I haven't got that vivid an imagination - maybe if I imagine we are ready to exchange and someones coming round end of the week??? might just work... (If I don't sleep or eat and can ban hubby and DS from the house! ;) )

I'm 45 - used to love that show!... And I still can't fold a piece of paper more than eight times (if every fold is in half) - ha ha, new challenge - bet you all try folding paper more than 8 times now... they did it on WDY... with a massive 30' x 30' piece of tissue paper and still couldn't do it... (funny how I remember that from 35+ years ago, but can't remember what's on my shopping list, or for that matter, to pick it up before I go shopping... )

Finally caught up after 3 hours (I have done other things in between!). Really cold now but the heating has just come on.

We had a little more snow earlier but the sky has cleared now ready for another frost.

Before i moved into this house i lived in a flat. I had inspections every 3 months:eek:. I'd spend the week before blitzing the place. So, once every 3 months it was immaculate and i'd always vow to keep it like it:rolleyes:. It got my bum into gear anyway:o.

Rabbit is now lovely and clean, have filled another black back, think i have 5 now:D
Was interrupted in my cleaning by lady phoning from cancer research because i did the race for life in 2007, put me on a bit of a downer as i realised that both the people i ran for have since died :(

Going to go for a bath and relax, really pleased with what i have achieved today. Will do some ironing tonight i think. Second lot of towels is in the TD.

Over half way there with the living room. A few more decs to box up and then the other end of the room to hoover and wipe and then it is all Level 3'd which is great cause for the next 2 weeks it will only be getting a wizz with the hoover and a flick of a duster over the tv.

anyone fancy joining me in a :coffee: and I think I have some heroes left.. while I declutter my desk..

It's gone cold now so just made another :coffee: if anyone wants one, help yourself... :coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee: (thanks for the heroes tho Pigpen... numnum)

Well, I've done the spare room/study... :T (apart from the filing cupboard and draws which will get done when spare room comes around I think...) There is no longer any dust in that room, it has been knocked into submission with the vacuum and the polish... smells lovely now and I have opened the window to give a final blast out...

I need to get on with a bit of work now (hence the cuppa) and then I can start on the bathroom... we're having curry from the freezer tonight, so nice easy meal and no cooking as such... :D

Well, the stuff from the garden has made it to the tip and OH made it back without going to the pub! (Which he had threatened to do while he was being stroppy about me making him move the freezer to take a meter reading!)
Shoe rack may need a drill to put together, despite saying it doesn't, so we are looking for the charger, may take a while...
I also have a load of money in Credit with EON, £199 apparantly but hadn't done a meter reading for ages so I won't rely on their accuracy, but at least not in debt!
I have made Pizza for tonight's dinner, cleared some bits from some hotspots, done some more washing up...
Can't do anything else on list until later but hopefully will get it done early-ish as I'm going to give blood this evening (it's open until 8pm!)

If you can, please Give Blood!
