hello to therecanonlybeone! Excellent choice of name, one of my favourite films ever.

My PC has given up and died - only 18 months old but the building works dust had clogged the fan resulting in cooked inside bits :mad: . Reduced to sharing my laptop, sharing is a very rude word as far as I am concerned despite my parents best efforts - :hello: to my mum who lurks.

not much done other than hours of trying to fix the pesty computer. just waiting for the dw to finish so I can empty and re-fill.

johanne - fingers crossed for the interview.

dusty, serena - I have an unexpected reward for having no time to cut things back before winter - the garden is stunning in the frost. I think I will leave it till early spring in future years too.

ZLS - hope you're ok and the jaffa cakes are helping (((hugs))). Is it you or DD that's recovering from surgery? xx

Wow you have a lot on your plate just now - I am surprised you can think about anything what with your wedding and then your DS being posted - 2 major trauma zones they are!!
You certainly have a good 'un in your hubby to be if he is doing the housework for you - what a good support that is. Your wedding sounds just lovely and special - the way it should be. Concentrate on your happy day for now and dont even think about DS's posting - there will be time enough after your wedding!
As for housework - well you have yourself, OH and are the Children all at home - of so they should be roped in as well - you should not be expected to do everything - IMHO!
The new thread starts from MOnday so dont go mad for now just work out your dailies and your routines.

Nice to hear your valuation was better than you expected - fingers crossed for you that it sells - are you moving far?

Afternoon all:)
feeling slightly better now, my upper back still hurts when I take a breath, a deep breath even to cough:(
Kids had a wonderful time last night, and my friend put them all to bed and cleaned the kitchen:) He went out to his car to go home and discovered his tyre was flat, so he asked if he could borrow my car....(his spare was flat) so he left it out this morning and fixed his own, came in for coffee and my bestfriend came around to take the shorties to see their dad....they are still away!!! I propped myself on the sofa with mama mia and a cup of coffee and have remained here ever since sleeping on and off!!

Just had a mighty shock in town so still calming down from that still want to cry. My little girl has what we call her do's its where she goes really quite and unresponsive and some times changes colour.

On the bus into town she fell asleep, she has this balaclava type hat and she had pulled the mouth bit over her mouth nose and eyes. I managed to get her off the bus and was going to carry her to the bus home bust woke up so decided to take her roound town. When we got to the shop I put her on the floor and she lost her balance and nearly went head first into the shop window. She had turned a very weird yellow colour and was not with it.

Any ways we are home now and its like nothing happened she is up stairs bouncing on the bed and making a lot of noise. She has not had one this bad for a long time and its scared me half to death, I am wondering whether she cut off oxygen by accident, she had that mask covering both the mouth and nose when its only meant to cover the mouth and she was leant on the bar.

Never mind, sorry for long post.
