  • I don't know what has happened to me. I feel like I have been drugged.
I am struggling to keep awake. My body is so tired and I am struggling to function properly.
I don't think I will be able to do any more than just tidy the kitchen after the kids have finished eating.

I have a hospital appointment in an hour so will try and do what I can before I leave. I hope to go to bed early tonight.

I feel even worse seeing that the master bedroom is tomorrow. My room is a tip. I really hate it. It will take me forever to clear the clutter out.
Oh my God how did I let it get into such a state.

Oh well tomorrow is another day.....

G&B - I have the opposite problem with clothes for my two as they're both tall. DD is 9 and in aged 12 school trouser. Problem is they seem to think that 12 years old must be huge because the waist on them is massive. Both my children are skinny ribs (don't take after me then!!) so clothes fall off them. I love the tesco ones as they have an adjustable waist.

My LO is also a rake, the only thing that makes clothes just about stay on her (non existent) waist is her spinal brace. It comes right down over her hips to restrict her movement so adds about 2 inches to her waist, even then things still fall off her:rolleyes:

Glad tomorrow is master bedroom day, my room is a pit:o
Can people please remind me tomorrow to phone the cardiology and orthopaedic clinics! I must remember to do it, my brain is like a sieve lately.

Dinner is made and consumed, macaroni cheese and salad and garlic bread, nomnomnom. Just having 5 minutes peace then will do the dishes.

Hello and welcome HH62 - I have sent you a pm!!!
what all the others have already said is right - baby steps - DO NOT look at the whole picture - just take one small teeny weeny part of it - a corner, a chair a tbale a drawer or whatever and start there - empty it, clean it and put back only what should be there - then move on to something else - try to do it in chunks - we do 30 minute chunks called HHC(half hour challenge) where we run around like mad things and do as much as we can in the 30 mins - its great because you know that ther are other silly women doing the same as you!!!
Even if it is only picking up bits of useless paper its a job done!!!
You can do this and we will help you - dont worry about the rooms that you have missed this week - dive in and try to do tomorrows list to level ONE only! and that will be a great start - next week that room will be better and you will get a little more done!
we were all in the same boat as you before we got on here so there is def light at the end of the tunnel
    huge hugs
    toots xx

ETA dont worry about keeping up with the thread its moving very fast just now - and you will waste all your day on here quite easily - just pop in and post what you have done - no matter how small and limit yourself to say 15mins to read the current page until you get more disciplined and organised!!!
    toots xx
    Peace will be mine
could do better - must try harder

  • In HHC 2 I
Cleaned DD bottom. Wiped back and changed clothes. P** up back.

Vacuumed cleared LR and DR floor. Allowed DS to help.
The work will wait for you to finish showing the LOs the rainbow, but the rainbow would not wait for you to finish the work.
