Just finished a HHC of shredding the rest of the stuff I dug out from the wardrobe the other day. Shredder emptied into recyclying bin. Thought I was rather brave going out as its brass monkey weather out there.

Plucking up the courage to go in the shower without turning into a block of ice.

    Hello all.

Caught up with Mondays jobs all level 3, Tuesdays all done to level 2, also washing basket completely empty:j (until the children go to bed and fill it again), all dried, ironed and put away. :D

Got to really get myself in gear now, we have a moving date 16th February, so serious decluttering needed. Although we are gaining a bedroom and another floor. We will be moving from a 2 bed terrace into a three storey town house, so the children get their own bedrooms at last.:T :T :T

But it will also mean that I'll go from a small family bath to maintain, to a downstairs cloak, family bath and ensuite shower room. Some serious flying will be needed to keep up with that. So that is my new years resolution. I've printed off all my days and laminated and put them into a file to keep myself motivated.

Now just to sort out the packing:eek: .

Off to eat my homemade chicken and barley broth now.

    See you in a while.xxxxx

Feeling very de-motivated - have just done huge batch of cooking for freezer/ OH to eat over the weekend while I'm away and the kitchen was a total mess. OH managed to fill and put on the d/w without being asked and wipe the surfaces - now I'm suspicious he's trying to make up for something bad he's done!!

I'm nearly there - thank you Pigpen for your encouragement - the pile has now moved off the table (which is now clean!!!) into the spare room but it's in more manageable piles now - so I will deal with it....later!!

But I'm getting there -just stopped for dinner - which might merge into watching Holby......

OddJob - did you burn the chest of drawers on an open fire to get maximum use, or did you burn it in the garden?

Sadly even though we have open fires in all rooms...We cant use them:mad:  (rented property and its the contract not to use them)....

So nice little (ish) fire in the garden....

OddJob - that's ridiculous! Open grates and you're not allowed to use them? Does the landlord not know there's a credit crunch on? Could you get him to change the contract if you took out insurances? But at least you may have got a bit of free heat stoking the fire in the garden...
