By the way, sygate updates stopped a LONG time ago. Your computers at risk using it!

I run another besides Sygate.. Just tell everyone everything. ;):D

To be honest. Unless your takin the p*ss (And I dont think you are)
Your VERY lucky your computer works at all as you should NEVER use 2 software firewalls together

Personally ive tried most of the free ones and found PC TOOLS to be my favourite (One of the most secure too)

No seriously, not taking the pi$$.. ;)

Have run two for about six weeks now.. Although removed Zone Alarm as it was pants so stuck with Sygate Pro which I strted with about three-four years ago... Had no problems running both together, ran ok to be honest after initial set-up and allowing stuff to access internet etc...

I still have no problems with Sygate and it works well to be honest coupled with Norton AV 2008 (2009 is pants) along with Spyware Blaster that runs in the background.

Not tried PC tools to be honest and no nothing about it...

    Sygates a good firewall.
BUT, as its hasnt been updated in years then hackers HAVE found holes in it (Which would normally be 'patched' by updates). Your system IMHO, isnt secure.

Why do you say 2009 Norton is cr*p?

I run a Quad Core Pent which is sh*t fast and NAV2009 slowed it down something cronic and was actually taking a lot of resources. I run NAV2008 on three machines and that seems ok, the main body now of NAV2009 has changed to a "total" package it seems (downloaded as a free offer as a subscriber).

I did not bother with my second machine as thats an older AMD that wife uses and is slower anyway and the lappy I did not too.. I run a three PC user licence on a network...

(seems you cannot ZzzzZzzz eitehr hey) - :D

PC Zone.. Have downloaded it, can you upgrade and do you get updates eitherway if you do not.. Had a quick read of their forum and seems like a lot of issues going on?

You could be right (probably are), hence my interest in the one you have named. ;)
