  • Whoops, spent just over £70 today:eek:, £50 on more gardening bits n pieces, nothing exciting, just compost, late potatos ready for planting, 20 in total, 5 of each variety! Some seeds, plant food etc. Have I bored you all yet??:p

Then spent a further £20 on a lovely lunch in our local Thai restaurant - bargain as that was for two of us including drinks, sarters and main courses (they had a special offer on). Its strange going out and not having to write up a report when I get home.;)

I've just had a quick read through my MShops for tomorrow, I think i'm ready!

I decided that I ought to get the money out of my 'terimundi', as things are a bit tight with all the regular savers and I'm still spending on gardening! I really didn't want to smash the pot as its lovely, so hubby drilled a large hole in the bottom and out popped £204 worth of £2 coins!:D Just need to find time to get to my bank tomorrow in amongst all the MShops.

Toms are still going strong but although we must have a least 30 green ones they are not turning red, I think gallygirl has jinxed them:cool:. The corriander is looking good though, as is the mint (great for Pims!).

Hope everyone has had a good non spendy weekend.;)

I'm sneaking a little rest from writting up my MShopping results. I left at 9am this morning arrived back home at 4pm having done 90 miles and 13 MShops! I still have 7 to write up but I may just have to watch neighbours first! Oh well think of the money.

Well done on getting the report written TPA :-)

My toms aren't as far along as yours - only got flowers at the mo. I'm sure yours will be lovely and red soon enough!

One of the branches is literally growning under the weight but they still will not ripen!

I've realised...this time next month SML will be a married lady!!!:T

Not a great day money wise, I forgot to take my lunch so had to buy some sandwiches and while I was there someone put some crisps and cookies in my basket:rolleyes:.....lalllaaa lalllaaa who was that then, it wasn't me it was my hand as my nephew used to say!

No more mystery shops until Saturday and none more booked after that...ekkk, I need to get a wiggle on!

:D Well if the snack fairy put them in your basket then it would have been rude not to buy them and then eat them :D

:o At least this is one place I don't have to change my name! :rotfl:

Here's hoping there's loads of sun for your tomatoes to ripen :)

That was exactly what I thought!

This reminds me of when I got married 5 years ago, I went into the bank requesting a new cheque book and card, when the arrived I promptly signed the card in my old name...doh!:o When I lloked at the cheque book all the cheques were in my married name and the paying in slip in my old name! Same book all bound together!

Here's hoping there's loads of sun for your tomatoes to ripen :)

You would have thought with all the sun we have had they would be red by now, they are more likely to drown this week!.

I have got my pots and my late potatos to put in them, do you plant them then keep adding earth as they sprout???

  • I almost forgot to say, yesterdays Mshops (if they are all ok - 13 in one day is not a good idea - please someone remind me of that if I get carried away again!) should earn me £150.50 plus a free sandwich:j. I did 90 odd miles so need to allow for lots of petrol (probably about £10), and the tax mans cut, but still not a bad days work. It was a long day by the time I had inputted all the data (wheres Stuart when you need him?:rotfl:)

I did some extra work today (related to main job) so thats another £50 (minus stoppages) for the pot. That should get paid in time for Christmas if I'm lucky:mad::rotfl:

I have managed to pick up another MS for Saturday, thats 3 now, none of them well paid, but i'm in the area anyway and hopefully shouldn't take too long. I've got another one booked for a nasty burger on the 20th but nothing else:eek:. I find the begining of the month to be the busiest, but this time last month i'm sure I had a lot more lined up.

Anyway who knows the answer to my potato dilema??

As you said you add more earth as the potatoes sprout, so that eventually the potatoes will be nice and cosy in the pot!
