£1.90 in postage for Amazon today, so should have left me £4.10 of my budget left, but t'other half posted the parcels for me and bought milk with the change *shakes fist*
So instead I have £3 until Friday.
And my NSD for today is b*ggered.
Still, it's his turn to buy milk next0 -
:j Hello everyone and pointy,
I spent £11.44 yesterday in Sainsburys out of my GC budget - so does the weekly spend come out of the GC budget or the separate Weekly Spend budget?
I've deducted it from my GC budget and kept the weekly spend budget at £0 - is this right or am i being daft?final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -

I have included my weekly spend and my groceries budget for this week together as I have loads of stuff in the freezer and my cupboards are well stocked.
When I get paid I won't do this as I will do a £50+ shop to stock the freezer again. I think it just depends on what works for you!0 -
Wow bit slow on catching up. Glad to you see you are all still with us we are now over half way through the week.
Pips mum - Thursday night not long now. How are you feeling?
F_F oh dear about milk my boyf would have have done the same I am sure. They sometimes don't think, especially when there is a challenge and you are as competitive as I am;)
Fedupandskint include what you think is best I am not including grocery shopping but I think I might need to define this better as most (ok nearly all) my extra spending goes on food like little extras at the supermarket. So next week I think I might not include food to make a meal or extras like milk but anything like biscuits should be included as that is what I need to cut down on for more than one reason!
Sazzledazzle don't worry I failed horribly last week. Finger crossed for next week. Even if you bought one less thing because of this challenge it is not a failure.
Piquant I feel your pain I wore 3 layers to work today not counting my coat! The wonders of sunny Scotland.
Well work is a bit of a nightmare at the moment and I have been escaping at lunch so I can do some studying as I have exams in just over a week so I spent 99p today on coffee from Weatherspoons (at least I didn't go to starbucks) for some peace, quiet and learning.
So I am on £3.94 out of £19 which is not bad with 2 days to go. I only have about £6.50 left in my purse as I bought toilet roll yesterday (out of Grocery budget) but paid in cash (yes silly me forgot I left my card at home) so going to try and make that last.
Keep up the good work everyone. Goldstars to Raychee and Miss Piggy can't believe you haven't spent anything yet :TWeekly Spend Challenge: £0/£30

Don't worry sazzledazzle. I guess it's trial and error until you find a weekly budget that really suits.
I've managed not to spend anything since Monday, so I still have my £6.33 left. I'll probably save it until the Friday or Saturday night and have a bottle of wine with friends - it's not quite enough to go to the pub, as I would usually do.
Next week I'm going to be more restrained in the first few days, and only buy things that are essential.Looking forward to the future.0 -
Thanks pointypenguin and Babs. Spent another £7.40 last night but only brought things I really need, made it past the chocolate and magazines without putting them in my basket so at least that is some money saved.MAY NSD's

Still haven't spent anything on 'extras' (unless the grapes I bought in my grocery shop count, and I don't think they do...).
I'm shocked at how little I've spent this week. Also, it will be even less than I was expecting, as I've decided not to go to the pub tonight - too cold, too far and too much to do!
Think I can cut my non-essentials budget down to £10 for next week... though I will have to pay parking to pick OH up from airport. HmmmNatwest CC - [STRIKE]£2545[/STRIKE] now £0 :j
