Thanks

Count me in. £12.00.
Does the week run from Sunday to Saturday?
Rugbymum the challenge runs from Sunday until end of the working day on Friday but you can run it until Saturday if you would like.
I have added everyone else to the list. We have lots of people this week which is great.

Hi
First time I've tried one of these challenges, although our debt is slowly but surely reducing thanks to our DMP I find it all too easy to spend up to - and over - my weekly budget, buying extra food, stuff we don't really need!
I'd like to pledge £20 for food and my bus fare home from work (I walk to work each morning so that saves a bit!)

Right, I have had a NSD today (Yay, #3 for January already!) and have my budget of £20 in my purse.
Normally I would use my debit card for groceries, but we have loads of meat in the freezer, I have made soup today and we should only need bread and milk for the rest of the week, which I am going to be getting from Asda. This is about 15 minutes walk away (all uphill) so if I keep buying from there I will hopefully lose a little weight too :rotfl:0 -

Well done Flying_Fresian you are off to a fabulous start. I currently have £19 in my purse so I think I will amend my goal to that for the week. Also to avoid temptation I am going to take my bank cards out of my purse now so I can't use them before Friday.Weekly Spend Challenge: £0/£30

Ooh, good plan, I might do that as well
I am only going to have half of my budget with me today anyway as t'other half is going to the Post Office for me to send off my Amazon parcels, so I had to give him a tenner to make sure I could pay for the postage and get exact change for my budget :rotfl:0 -
Morning,
Can I join this please?
Please put me down for £20 for this week. I can't think of much that I need to get apart from a few essentials from Tesco's.
