Tefal le Saucier

I have had one of these for years but it is now on its last legs. I have been meaning to buy a new one for ages but didn't. I have now discovered (thanks to Lakeland having them in their sale but now SOLD OUT) that they are no longer made and seem unobtainable despite a morning's searching the web. Does anyone know of anywhere still selling them ? (It is a fab small gadget which gives an extra pair of hands in kitchen, while turning out perfect sauces, melting chocolate etc etc) Any ideas very gratefully received :confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:

Probably not greatly helpful judging by your location. But I'm SURE I saw some of these in the Bluewater branch of Lakeland earlier in the week. Maybe worth giving them a ring?

Thank you all - I even phoned Tefal who said they hadn't made them/had any for ages, but I didn't think of phoning a Lakeland shop. I'll try tomorrow - fingers crossed !!

Small non-stick 'saucepan' with central paddle which rotates, standing on a base which heats and has variable heat settings. Pop in butter, when melted, hurl in some flour, let it cook a bit then whack in milk and magic white sauce appears while you do other things (and no chance of lumps because paddle is stirring all the time), add cheese etc. I also melt chocolate in it for choc mousse, and have done hollandaise sauce (but not v often). I love it because of the lovely smooth sauces it makes while I'm doing the veg or painting my nails but anyway not standing over a saucepan with a whisk and still managing to get lumps. But what's the point of telling you how wonderful it is if there are no more! Sob........

Mine arrived this morning too :T

They are made by Seb and you can get them from amazon France I was going to do this before lakeland had them in. postage is very expensive though so try lakeland branches first.
