Stitched Up on Drive Thru

Does everyone get stitched up with the amount of chips from the drive thru or is it just me?

Does Macdonalds have a drive thru policy of giving out less than what is acceptable when it comes to my portion of chips?

If this ever happens call the resturant and your name will be put in a book a receive a free meal (the meal that you did have)

What I complain about is the fact that I looked for my chips, which i had rightly paid for. There was maybe a 1/3rd of a portion.

P.S. Not 6 less maybe 60 less chips.

If you were in a resturant and the food came out and it was 1/3 of a portion, may i ask you what you would do?

On the rare occasions I have a take away I always go in and order mine. That way I know I'm getting exactly what I've ordered.

If i go to Macdonalds I will always eat in.

But when someone from work has gone to get one from the drive thru, my chips are invisible. I have no problems when I eat in just with the drive thru.

Thats why I am suggesting that MacDonalds has a CDTP (Chip Drive Thru Policy) which is dont give any!!!!!

i highly doubt you even get 60 chips normally(not that iam sad enough to count) so i doubt that unless they were missing altogehter?

Because you order a burger and chips and get the burger plus 5 chips, would you think that maybe there wernt enought chips?

Because in the menu it says you get 6 of these yet you get 4 of them? Would you question the amount?

Maybe its just me. They show me a picture of a portion of chips , and their website even has a picture. So I generally assume that maybe my food might actually might look similiar to the picture.

yes but it doesnt actually say on the menu a portion of chips containig 67 chips does it!:rolleyes:
any chance next time you go you could count the amount of chips in the picture,count the amount you get then come back and tell us if its different?:rolleyes:
95% of the time pictures on menus the food doesnt look the same,how many times have you seen this burger that looks like half a mountain yet what you get is one 1/8 of the size,its trick photography

Take a normal Macdonalds chip carton.

Stand it up, would you expect to see the chips?

Well i couldent. So take your judgement on that.

This isnt the 1st time this has happened to me and wont be the last.

I think the solution here is if you fear you'll get short changed on chips in the drive thru.

Unwedge yourself from your vehicle and order at the counter!

The excercise may be useful.
