MacDonnalds repulses me - especially after watching this video

Seriously though, I agree with the OP - if you order something and pay for it in a restaurant, you should get the whole portion!

 Wow, what a scary vid. I am going to start using thick shakes as face cream.:D

    1. Op is right, you should get what you paid for.(although in this case the chips could have gone missin in transit)

    2. It may seem trivial but if no one ever complained about anything then nothing would ever get better.

3.Drive thrus are lazy, sending someone to drive thru FOR you...?? well you decide.

Lazy? Isn't it normal for work colleagues to take it in turns or send one person to collect lunches. Happens on building sites too, and many offices have lunch delliveries. Are all these lazy too? Or just effectively managing their time?
I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.

Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.

The OP said someone from their works went to get the meal - so they couldn't have driven round.

I kind of don't get why every one is so hostile against somebody venting on a blooming venting board! (and Chuckley I'm not refering to you, just quoted re top point - I'm usely very fond of your contributions).

This used to be a happy place where consumers ganged up against multi nationals who get away with under providing whether it be by £5K or 5 chips!

In answer to the OP yes I've had this in the drive through and in the resturant. I find it more annoying in the resturant when i see them spilling (my) chips on the way to the counter! I never complain but it does annoy me a bit. Yes they're saving my waistline by doing so but that's not what i'm paying for! and yes there are much bigger issues in the world but I think I can seperate one minor issue from another larger one while I have my happy meal! :D

Some members of my family recently went to a local pub for a meal and got one bowl of chips between six people. Solution was to complain to the waiter politely and they got another bowl. Complaint over. They haven't chosen to exaggerate or dramatize it by venting on here and sound like a ravening lunatic!

Although the OP is quite correct, portion size should be what you have ordered, what I can not understand is that the OP has gone back several times and is still complaining about the portion size and then posting asking if they have a Drive thru policy. Simple solution would be to stop using them!

The trivial nature of this complaint, IMO takes away any merit from the more serious complaints people have. We are becoming more like the USA in that we are constantly looking for compensation for any reason or another. Companies are now putting up bigger walls and generally ignoring the important complaints.

This forum is becoming silly and while I do realise that is board is for venting or complaint it is silly complaints like this which are preventing other people getting the help they need.

Guess you all work for Macdonalds then?

Think you might need the 50p more than me. So I will let you keep it.

McD's pay better than you may think, I worked there as a student and the pay was pretty good!

I think the answer is don't go there. Chippies are way better value!

Sounds like you have a chip on your shoulder.

Should put it in the carton and make up the numbers.
