For my daughter's 2nd, I went for finger food so I wouldn't have to supply forks. This is what I did:
- A couple of pizzas cut into smallish slices (ppl don't want too much per portion at parties, I find)
- Egg mayo sandwiches
- Coronation "Chicken" sandwiches (turkey is cheaper
) - Breadsticks (these were practically all the little ones seemed to eat!)
- Carrot batons (I bought the bags of ready-prepared for ease
- Asda do a huge "big saver" bag I think they are called) and celery sticks - Cubed value Cheddar
- Salt-your-own Asda brand crisps
- Yog-mayo dip with chives
- A yog-mayo dip with honey and mustard
It was a fairly frugal spread but got no complaints - nothing but appreciation in fact so yay :TLove and compassion to all x0
