Screwfix are excellent although their prices can be a little high compared to toolstation (http://www.toolstation.com/shop/) which are also great.

One thing that are a bit rubbish are some of their screws (not joking).... and check all the bits are there when your box arrives.
  • sounds very positive maybe its one company getting it right for once!! Will definatly get the worktop from them especially as they're so much cheaper.
Other women want a boob job. Honey the only silicone i'm interested in is on a 12 cup muffin tray, preferably shaped like little hearts
  • iv'e used them a lot. never bought work tops but will be in the next year. all there stuff iv'e bought has been good & had no complaints with them, they are also quick, cheep & delivery is fast. ewan 3

Unbelievably the guys from Screwfix have been allowed to open Toolstation - www.toolstation.com

I don't know why that's unbelievable - you can't get a patent on mail order DIY supplies!

I concur that Screwfix are usually pretty good, although prone to breaking things which they will replace with no hassle at all (usually not requiring the original back). It costs them more to pack things properly than replace stuff from time to time, obviously.

Sale to Kingfisher might have been seamless, but when they moved their distribution point from Yeovil to the midlands somewhere, it was disastrous, with them having to close the website for a while because of the backlog of orders. All this has been sorted out now, though.
Time is an illusion - lunch time doubly so.

    Hello,

We use Screwfix a lot and have been very happy with the service, products and delivery so far!

We also use https://www.greasypalm.co.uk to access the Screwfix website, as they give you cashback! Basically free money for buying an item you had planned to anyway!

    Hope this helps someone :D
