Shop that opened with no staff!!

in Shop but don't drop
Did anyone read in the papers today about a shop that opened on Boxing Day but had no staff in? They left an 'honesty box' on the counter and if anyone bought anything they just put the money in the box!:rotfl:

How many people would be that honest and would it work in your town?
I like my money right where I can see it - hanging in my closet.;)

    The shop is in Settle a small town, where everyone knows everyone else and their business. Don't think it would work as well in Chav City.
