I want to live seperatly from my husband! HELP

I am mother of 1 baby (2 years) and now pregannt with 2nd one due this august.
I want to move out from my husband and do not wish to live with him any longer due to problems and arguments.
How can I manage that? Do I report to council to rehouse me (if they do, will it be 1 bed or 2 bed due to fact that I am pregnant with 2nd baby).
And because I was totally dependant financially on my husband, I have no earnings and cannot really work currently due to my situation. So does that mean I will get the rent paid if I am given flat? And also something to live on e.g income support.
My husband is no position to support me as he himself is nearly bankrupt.
Look forward to all the helpful comments and differnt scenarios that could help me.
Regards

sorry you are having a bad time
i am not sure they would re-house you, you would have to make yourself homeless.
I also know of many single mums who have lived in studio flats with one and 2 babies.
my sister and partner had 2 children under 20mths in a one bed flat and didnt get rehomed into a 2 bed flat until oldest was 2yrs old and then they had to move 20miles out of their area.0 -

Make an appointment to see a Solicitor who deals with Legal Aid now known as Public Funding . You may be entitled to advice under the Legal Help Scheme. Good luck. All my views are just that and do not constitute legal advice in any way, shape or form.£2.00 savers club - £20.00 saved and banked (got a £2.00 pig and not counted the rest)Joined Store Cupboard Challenge]0

smak WHO??????
I have read his story but it can't be my husband. because at the time and date of his post, my husband was home all day. And we do not have computer or internet acces at home that my husband may have made use of to write the post u r taliking about.0 -
Wouldn't it be better if you stayed put and you persuaded him to leave?0

I think the council would more than likely think you had made yourself intentionally homeless by leaving and therefore not help re-house you. That is of course unless there is evidence of domestic violence in which case, a call to one of the helplines should be helpful to you0

Yeah I know what u r saying but He pays the mortgage of that flat which is the sole signotory to (I opted out when signing mortgage papers for our right to buy flat).
He has enough income to barely support the way we r living now. So how can he then move out and maintain two places i.e pay mortage for the current one and rent for the new one that he will move out to. Its jsut not feasible.
