- brit stiff upper lip is what alot of companies & public bodies rely on, not enough make a song & dance with issues & thats why we have children dying while under social work protection orders, over & over @ that
errrm, just how many children have been killed by these telecom companies?0 -
If you don't want to read my opinions, nobody's forcing you to.kentishplato wrote: »As for Bill Bennett your wild and totally inaccurate assumptions about my experiences remind me that there are still people in the world like you who are ready to accuse and have found guilty without one shred of substantiated evidence. Your crass, ignorant, opinions are unwanted unwarranted and unneccesary
Anyway, I'm not one to lose sleep over it. I've got more important things to think about, like going and heating up some pie. I've got some apple pie and custard that really needs eating.
Mmm... tasty pie.0 -
Redux if this is true then this would not have been explained to me at the time. I did not need a new phone and told him so. He said that the deal comes with a new phone. Okay he may have been telling me porkies but how would I know.A mobile contract does not run out, it has a minimum agreed period and then continues indefinitely on a month's notice. Unless it is replaced with a new contract arranged through upgrades or retentions, which you have done. You could have stayed on the old one by doing nothing, but seem to have preferred perhaps a new phone and reduced line rental; some networks will do this and keep the old tariff if asked.
Are you also saying that the companies cannot impose per second billing on the first minute as seems to be the latest change?0 -
Sorry mate I cant agree with you You are entitled to your opinion but I think apple crumble is nicer.billbennett wrote: »If you don't want to read my opinions, nobody's forcing you to.

who knows considering the UK mobile industry dont tie a payg to a parents/guardians mobile with free calls, USA & AU & others have this
Redux do you need to attack everybody who suggests something to do with UK telco's ? One would swear you work for one or Ofcon.
As for your comment TRY reading my points about UK regulators & public bodies before immaturely suggesting a UK telco killed a child........
As for the rest, billbennett & others really need to disclose their employers......& stop commenting on genuine consumers needs/concerns while denying they are part of the UK telcoSO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe

diamonds, a load of off-topic rants about child abuse is b*gger all to do with telecoms, but it was you who went obliquely off-topic and introduced the subject, not me
The false accusation about me being an Ofcom employee is just plain loopy, your demands to know others employment are quite unwarranted, insinuations that all of the minutiae of mobile contracts, even to the extent of what or how many calls are included, are apologised for overseen or perhaps even designed by Ofcom are fantasy, and all of them are all signs of needless paranoia that contributes little to the discussion
If people want to stay on contracts with rollover, then it's quite easy, don't call up to negotiate a new one instead. But mostly contracts have been continually heading in the direction of more minutes for less cost, and that's why most people aren't that upset by diminishing rollover prospects. Saying so is hardly company propaganda by undisclosed mobile network employees.0 -

rants ? they is only 1 of us that partake in such with many poster's, and it aint me, I didnt accuse you of anything
designed by Ofcon ? when did I say such ? I said Ofcon like many public bodies are CRAP at their very function
and many posters on here disclose their employer ( LawBunny,BexTech ), BILLBENNETT amoungst dont & pass comments about an industry biased by their employment in it, while not disclosing the fact WE pay their salary @ Orange, Bordaphone, oWho? etc etcSO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe

magic numbers are not free, you need I think 10p balance - not great for kids when balance is used in 1 week & 3 weeks left till bill date no calls to magic numbers work
Family became Your Group, Your Group gets confused with free Orange2Orange/Unique " homezone " calls, Family gave free calls & texts - YG gives calls only
Your Group is just actually the old Orange business Talkshare plan with restrictionsSO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe

Too bad if your minutes do not roll over. It would appear the likes of 'diamonds', 'kenthishplato' and 'Old Gold' are addicted to arguing over non-issues they cannot control nor influence. I'm assuming it really annoys them!
Anyway, 'diamonds' and 'Old Gold' - are you guys colleagues in the jewellery industry? Go on 'diamonds' disclose your employer as you have challenged others to do (H Samuel?).0
