I just went to KFC for a boneless bucket for us and the kids and there was a fight in there between staff!
We were at the drive thru window so we had a grandstand view!
They were really busy in there and one of the servers stuck his head round to the food prep guys to enquire of his order.
One of the prep guys grabbed him by the scruff of the neck and shouted right in his face (luckily - the drive thru window was shut so we had vision with no sound - kids in the car.)
There was a brief angry exchange of words and a scuffle, then the server pulled away, stormed off through the kitchen throwing his KFC hat on the floor.
He burst through he doors and out across the car park with a colleague scuttling after him trying to calm him down!
Lenny how are you holding up hunny bun?

Hey Sammy no lecture there love. I know what you mean about putting things into perspective it helps us to re-focus and allow us to realise how fortunate we all really are. But like anything ever is in life its relative to your own situation aint it. Linda asked earlier if my mate on FB was bigging himself up. He wasnt i just added him, but as a blast from the past it got me thinking about how debt really has put life back 20 or so years and by that I mean my mates have houses and mortgages that they got when they were young and whilst they were paying ther mortgages off every month, I was living the life of riley on the never never; what a costly costly mistake. Now I'm not wallowing Ive managed to slap myself out of it, but recently I just seem to nose dive really really spiral. Plus got a lot of things going on in my life at the moment, work is 'difficult' at the moment, another babby due in April and we are moving in 2 weeks as well. Ironically, the least of my troubles appears to the money lol. I just need a major head shrinking session, otherwise Im just gonna get worse. I think that the job situation is KEY to everything at the moment and i just hope that once this has been steadied things should start getting better again. Sorry to drone on, back to my innuendos ehThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

HEY! you are not droning on! you have so much going on! and if you didn't Work being a pain (ie the place where you spend 70% of your time) is horrible and hard to manage on its own.
I know what you mean on the friend front. One of mine who never got into debt at uni or at any other point her life has a nice house and goes on holiday every single break we get.
I still cannot understand how I got into this mess. I just keep telling myself, its my path not hers this is what I have to learn she is learning some thing else(she just gets to do it on holiday GRRR).
we are here to listen etc we don't just love you for your rude jokes you know!
Hugs sweetie

Lenny, been there done it got the teeshirt! I had a mortgage young and left it when I left ex and found it really hard being back at the bottom of the ladder in my midthirties. I was a bit jealous of friends who seemed to have it all but eventually I've got my head round it and realise I've got lots to be thankful for and I'll get there one day.
Spent NYE with friends and there was a young lad there who has been through hell in his young life - made me feel guilty for taking stuff for granted. We all do though so don't beat yourself up about it. 2009 will be THE year!Mortgage OP 2025 £7050/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000
