House is a complete tip, thinking of taking all the decs down tomorrow, I hate doing it, but only 11 months til they go back up.

Living without heating or hot water since Xmas Eve am hoping service engineer will be able to fix on Monday.

Iv just been on the old style bords and thay are talking about a program on itv on monday night about living for free!!!!!

Just thourt id tell you all about it.
Might be worth having a look at with the things the way thay are and with that many people wont to become debt free in 2009.

Morning All! Back to work for me today again (even though i`ve been back since xmas) Ar well only 1 day then its the weekend. But then saying that i`m working again tomorrow at 2nd job but i don`t see that as work cus i enjoy it! Does that make sense or doe it sound like a ramble?? It feels far to early for me so i`ll appologose now if it does!

Morning All, SRM and any newbies

Well its a new year, new me and am feeling positive about the future. Have seriously got my " I will be debt free in 2009 hat on" and my " I will finish my training for the London Marathon shoes" on today so all good . Going to take our tree down today, put stuff in the loft, go and get Bea some new shoes...if I can find any dam shoe shop in a 100 mile radius that has a pair in her size! Oh and I suppose I better finish some wedding photos and do my final assignment for my OU course. Looks like I will be busy me thinks!

Right DD still in bed so going to do some daily clicks and check bank then must crack on. Have a good day everyone and hugs for anyone that needs them

today i have made a promise to use dfw not just for the 4k challenge but to get myself df by 2010, when the ex left he made a promise to pay everything off (i even had it in writeing) but alas just a pie crust promise from him so im going to do what i should have done to start with and sort it myself, ive started getting letters (had 2 today) so i assume he has started giving them my details and the letters are now comeing to me

im telling myself its ok i CAN and will sort it, i have to i dont like letters and dont want to be in debt forever so every spare penny will be going on it all (i wont start a diary it wont motivate me i dont think plu to an extent i am a tad embarassed at what i racked up when over the last year at least ive kinda gone the other way and spend only what i really have to)

i want letters and more of them so i know what im faceing

well todays " same company 1 for barclays 1 for capital one both offering one payment of half amounts for a full and final i can pay both i have enough from 4k challenge to cover these, my rent months outgoings and still some do i go for it? that would be 2 down and 4 to go if memory serves correctly (another bigger barcalys, barclays credit card, and 2 catalogue debts)

can the wise talk some sense into me?savings are good but being df would be the icing on the cake

Morning all! Just back from work - soooo tired but I need to stay up with the kids til 10 - so I will try to be productive and play with my budget for a while! Had a bit of a wake up call last night - got stopped on the way to work and fined for speeding!!! not only £60 but 3 points on my licence - Had to get my licence out to check when my other points expired - had panic attcks all night about loosing my licence and not being able to get to work (i work 45miles from home!) Thank God I'm ok - but will really have to slow down! (no idea why i'm now typing in italics either and can't wrk out how to stop it!!!! too tired! )

Oh and for anyone who is trying to loose a bit of the Christmas bulge, this was on the freebies board and thought it might be of use to someone. I have downloaded and intend to use it...just to see if it works, will keep you posted
