Think I will go and buy a calor gas heater just for emergencies, knowing our luck we will get our gas supplies cut on certain days and have power cuts due to overloaded power stations.

Rumours are that the Russians bought up tons of gas price futures last week, essentially betting that the price would go up. They then turn off the taps, watch the price soar, and collect their easy money. Ker-ching!poppy100
