Quote very vague i know, but just chuck in what you have. keep an eye on the stock cube/water ratio - you don't want it too watery. could also chuck in porridge oats to thicken
nice with courgette if any lurking in the fridge.
Oh there are some items lurking in my fridge too. My daughter wanted me to buy an aubergine, becasue it looked pretty. She still hasn't tried it as I don't really like them and don't know what to do with them other than moussaka, and that is a winter thing. It is looking less and less pretty each day.
Any-one????
What about making baba ganoush (aubergine dip) that you could have with toasted pitta strips or crudite that is a bit more summery than moussaka. I am sure if look at OS there will be a recipe.
Howdy F_F just thought I would peek my head out as I have been lurking. I am avoiding analysing my food intake as that is a bit too scary at the moment. You seem to be doing fairly well. Glad you enjoyed Ross Noble I am have friends who think he is excellent but I have never really seen much of his stuff.Weekly Spend Challenge: £0/£30

Morning!
Fell asleep last night at about 9ish so didn't post my food diary. I'm not hiding anything bad!!
Breakfast - usual bowl of Special K/semi-skimmed milk
Lunch - Pea and ham soup (Homemade) and two slices of wholemeal bread
Dinner - Homemade chilli a la tomtombeanie (!) with boiled rice
Pudding - banana and four MAHOOSIVE strawberries
Snacks - banana, apple, low-fat custard, Mullet Corner yoghurt, bread roll
I hope that's all right - it's not as clear in my head as it was yesterdays food!
Today I will be using the last of the pea and ham soup and then it's back to sandwiches I suppose. I do need to make vegetable soup, but currently have no room in the freezer to store anything. I am going to try and eat bulky things this weekend!
In DFW news, I received my Quidco payment. Some of this was promised to OH as he's skint and I did get the cashback for his new contract. £30 to him and the rest to me! So I PADded £62ish today even though I don't have a lot of money left for the month. I would rather just tighten my financial belt though than use my Quidco money for living. I have been getting lazy recently about my daily spending, but I'm back on the DFW boat now!
I am selecting 2 items a day for Ebay and will upload them all at the weekend. I have four items for sale at the moment - No7/Ruby&Millie cosmetics and a Nina Ricci perfume, but only two are being watched, so I might not make a lot from that. One of those has got a bid of 99p thoughI still also have two items on Amazon. I have £6.18 on its way from Amazon too for previously sold items.
Attention Ebay people!! Do you know if it is possible to get one of those things (This is going to be good) that they have at the Post Office where they try and fit the parcel through to decide if 'tis letter or packet? It's like a little cardboard letter box! I think it would help with my slapdash packing.
Hurrah, it's the Hump O'The Week!

Hi F-F
As far as ebay & postage is concerned I think the post office have leaflets that fold out & show the different packet sizes - either that or there is something online
is there not one at your work place that you can 'borrow'?I do not make mistakes, I learn lessons.I work to live, not live to work.I love to live & live to love.Good enough is exactly that.0 -

We have one of these at work - not sure if you can buy them though?! I think the main sorting post office provided them when they changed all the letter/parcel prices.
They are very useful though so that you don't get stung for extra charges thinking a thickish letter is classed as a letter or a parcel. You should see us trying to ram a letter through the slot..
I will try and investigate for you....

F_F You sound like an expert, how does Quidco work exactly? I have looked on the website and am bamboozled! House insurance is due soon and would like to try it out - can you compare prices like on Comparethemeerkat.com?0
